I stayed at Bryn coed two nights while cycling the Transcambrian Way with a group of people. I had a number of conversations with the owner of the B+B beforehand, as the group size changed during the planning stage. I was quoted a different price per person each time. We were charged more than I was quoted over the phone... More

Thank you for your feedback, Barbara and I would like to take this opportunity to address them. Firstly, yes, the price did keep changing and as I tried to explain to you that was because your party numbers kept changing. The price at Bryncoed is not calculated on a per person basis, but a per room basis. Thus, if the... More

Stayed here with my girlfriend during a recent break. First impressions were a bit daunting, but was one of the best stays ever. The breakfasts were delicious and I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Arrived feeling a little jaded after a troublesome journey but I was made to feel very welcome, it was on a par with visiting relatives or old friends. After settling into my accommodation the owners,Dee and Ray, gave me some excellent information about things to do and see in their local area. ( Try the Elan Valley if you're there... More

The hosts, Dee and Ray, were very welcoming and the full English breakfast was amazing - the sweet beans were a bit strange for me, nothing like Brazilian beans. Bryncoed is very well located with spectacular views of the Welsh mountains and local wildlife abounds in the gardens. It was fun practicing my rusty French with Ray and he was... More

We arrived at Bryncoed Guest House about 4:30pm and on entering the house there is a strong smell of dogs enough to make your eyes water. The smell is all on the communal areas but when we entered our room there was no smell. Room Our room was very old fashioned with mismatched furniture and ornaments and Nic-nacs which is... More

I loved my stay at Bryncoed in June 2015. Best breakfast I have ever had.. seriously. Eggs, bacon, hash brown, sausage and tomatoes yummo! I thoroughly enjoyed watching the two residents squirrels and numerous birds playing in the front garden whilst I ate my brekkie. How lovely. Great hosts who ensure a comfortable stay. I also fell in love with... More

we booked our trip via Laterooms.com.easier to do with their help as all of the other hotel spaces were taken as it was a Bank Holiday. It was unfortunate that we arrived later than we had said for dinner, but that didn't matter after we had by shown our room dinner was served. Hot Chicken ,new potato, broccoli and cauliflower. especially comfortable warm room with a beautiful view down the Elan valley. Marvellous cooked breakfast, lasts you all day. It's like living in a nature reserve as the wild birds, squirrels and local semi-wild cat were fed daily outside the bay window where we breakfasted, wonderful to watch while eating breakfast. Ideal location for exploring unspoilt wild mountainous countryside of... More
