My husband, our 8-year old daughter and I loved our two-night stay back in June [totally forgot to do a review]. The house is so steeped in history, but with modern comforts. I had just finished an OU course on the 19th century novel and almost expected to find some spectre in the wardrobe or hear creaking in the night,...

We had a very enjoyable stay, it's a charming period property with lovely views of the countryside. Very peaceful, no traffic noise, you can sleep with the windows open. Sally keeps the cockerel in its shed until 0730, so you get a good night's sleep even on this working farm. Sally's a charming host and cooks a great and delicious...

The farmhouse was the star of the film Mr Holmes and it lived up to its billing. Fantastic location with stunning coast and country walks from the door of the beautiful historic farmhouse. Beams, four poster bed and wonderful attentive service from Sally, whose breakfasts are second to none. We will be back soon.

This historical Manor Farm is beautifully set in the rolling hills of East Sussex. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Loved the bay window overlooking the pastures. The English breakfast was hearty, fresh and delicious. The hostess Sally was charming and informative. We stayed 2 nights and toured the nearby seaside towns as well as Bodiam Castle. The manor farm...

I spent a beautiful weekend here (1 night) with my boyfriend in October. A beautiful property, lovely and very helpful owners who upgraded our room and served a good breakfast. It's a bit outside Rye, with great views - worth the extra mile.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights with a friend who was visiting from Australia. The rooms are beautifully furnished and appointed with all the comforts you will need, whilst retaining the charm of the period (16th century). Sally is a wonderful hostess and has some good tips for eating places in the vicinity. The surrounding area is...
