Stayed here 7 nights at start of October. The transfer from airport was long. Jet2 said 20 minutes but by coach via lots of other hotels it was more like 1 hour. The bus driver had some horrendous difficulties trying to navigate tight roads to these other hotels. Anyway once at the hotel we had lunch for 200 kunas at...

The Astarea is on the beach in the tiny village of Mlini,Crotia. Rooms are not large but found enough room for all clothes etc. The hotel is kept very clean with linen and towels changed nearly every day. The outdoor pool and area is about 2 years old and very smart. It does not get 5 stars because it was...

The hotel is on the coast approx. 8 Km from Dubrovnik. We were given a room on the first floor overlooking a flat roof which was too hot with no A/C and when we complained were moved to a much nicer room on the 3rd floor with balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were efficient and friendly. We travelled with...

Just returned from a fantastic 7 night holiday with my wife at The Astarea. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We were in a side sea view room on the 4th floor of the main hotel. Room was spotlessly clean every day. Comfy bed fantastic shower, tv had 3 English channels but who wants to watch tv on holiday. The food...

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a 7 night coach tour of Croatia with Newmarket holidays. Our whole group of 48 people were put in the Annexe. The room was small and "tired" and there was no lift or porterage provided. The Annexe was 200 metres from the hotel (restaurant and bar) with no...

Just spent a week at this hotel. Beautiful location and excellent food and service, particularly efficient reception staff. The hotel does not accept Euros so take Kunas, they do exchange but of course charge. We found ourselves in the annexe again lovely view but the walk and stairs are difficult if you have mobility problems. The public areas in the...

The facilities in the hotel were very good, the pool area was lovely, the hotel also provided a mini bus to Dubrovnik for a small charge. We were also lucky enough to receive a free 20 min massage, and use of the gym and sauna

We have stayed at this hotel several times, do not like long transfers, this one is fairly close to Dubrovnik airport. Rooms comfortable and clean, but not very large. Food buffet style, not a great deal of variation, but plenty. Bus serice to Dubrovnik and Cavat (nearest village) from top of drive (a bit steep). Hotel minibus also available at...

Stayed in September wanting a location near but not in Dubrovnik. Mlini was a lovely village, smaller than Cavtat midway between the 2. A local ferry service served both towns near the hotel & was a lovely way to travel. The Hotel Astarea which houses the Villas also has a shuttle service in & out of Dubrovnik. We had a...

Stayed 2 nights at the Villas Mlini which is an annexe of the main hotel Astarea. The villas themselves are located right by the small beach of this hotel. We stayed at the upper level of the villas and as such had a balcony which overlooked the sea. Lovely. The villas themselves are very modern and clean and really comfortable....
