This place is brilliant. It is clean, warm, well located, although it is easy to miss the sign at the turnoff. Noreen, the owner, was really helpful with locations of interest, walks off the beaten track and she is a great cook. Breakfasts were very good.

5 MILES from Clifden. The owner COULD have offered to drop us into the village but did not. so had to ask HIM to order a taxi it cost €15 and when I EVENTUALLY managed to get a taxi home it was another €15 =€30 +€90 for the room =€120 makes the stay at a country bnb VERY EXPENSIVE. breakfast...

This b and b ticked all the boxes. They even have a bath. The area is quiet and relaxing. It is very child friendly, especially with the garden and trampoline. Great place. The b and b is very clean. The rooms are large. The breakfast was lovely. Pancake with berries, mommy. 5 star.

We stayed here while we spent some time in the Connemara area. The hosts were fantastic and very welcoming upon arrival during a very rainy and stormy day. The house was comfortable and shared by many travelers and family members. Breakfast was fantastic and the hosts spent time chatting with visitors and sharing suggestions (and apologizing about the rain). Our...

We stayed at the Ben Breen House for one night as we traveled through the Connemara area. We were warmly received by the hosts. Our rooms were clean and well attended to (the hair dryer was missing in one but was quickly replaced). The breakfast had ample choices to select from including the full Irish breakfast. Noreen suggested two short...

This is a nice bed and breakfast that could be better. Upon arriving we were impressed, however first looks can be deceiving. First, I would like to state it was late upon our arrival, around 10 pm local time, however guests were still arriving after us. When moving the decorative pillows a large black spider ran across the bed, so...

We enjoyed our stay at Ben Breen House very much. It is situated on a hill overlooking lakes, mountains and amazing countryside. Noreen and her son served at breakfast, and were very pleasant and attentive, making sure we had enough to eat and that we enjoyed it. Noreen also wanted to be sure our room was comfortable and if there...

Ben Breen House is a wonderful B & B in the wilds of Connemara. Noreen was a gracious hostess and made us feel very welcome. We stayed here our first night in Ireland and suffering from jet lag nearly missed breakfast the next morning. Noreen came and knocked on our door to wake us for breakfast, which she didn't have...

I had stayed at a B&B nearby before which was booked up this time, so I stayed here instead. There is nothing wrong with Ben Breen, its is perfectly fine and we only had a quick stopover. It is located out in the wilds of Connemara, which is always great, about ten minutes drive from Clifden. The lady of the...
