Stayed here for two fantastic nights. The food and wine were out of this world - fresh off the farm. View out of the window in the morning and the fantastic art work everywhere you look make for my most memorable and best stay in NZ.

When you're travelling alone for work its really nice to be treated. Especially when you're just completed a 13 hour day! I rang to say I'd be in late (after 9:30pm) and this was no problem. I felt very welcome and it was like meeting long lost friends. Hosts Fenella and Steve are creative and interesting people and this place...

Sublime is an understatement of the experience here. The food, wine, hospitality, scenery is beyond description. To be looking at mountains and nestled in amongst vineyards that the wine you are drinking comes from ... to be savouring every mouthful of cuisine sourced from the terrain you are taking in. After a big day hunting it was decadent to come...

We have just completed the A20 and stayed at Sublime Lodge. They made the most delicious sugar free, low carb meals imaginable. Fenella is amazing - very knowledgable about food and eating - she should run courses. Even our lunch buns were paleo-delicious! Thank you so much - we will recommend this place to everyone who wants a delicious, creative...

This gorgeous place is an absolute delight set amongst the most incredible countryside. Fenella and Steve are amazing hosts and even better cooks and their wine is pretty fantastic as well. Their homestead showcases all the delights of country lifestyle yet has many touches of luxury including the hot tub that was the bees knees after a long day bike...

Upon arrival I was blown away by the stunning views both at and surrounding Sublime, then by the warm welcome from the wonderful hosts, Steve and Fenella, as well as their adorable puppy Titch. My time there began with a glass of their delicious wine, while strolling through the very vineyard that produced it, and continued with a game of...

If you want "off the beaten track", peace & quiet, excellent hosting from Steve & Fenella, superb food and wine, and a lovely comfortable bed, this is EXACTLY the place for you! We stopped over for just one night and would have loved longer had we known... Sublime (named after its terroire, rather than subliminality, apparently!) is in a beautiful...

We stayed at Sublime for four nights at the beginning of our trip to the South Island, and what an amazing introduction to New Zealand! Steve and Fenella were fantastic hosts; they recommended excellent local places to visit, and provided us with incredible food, conversation, and their own delicious wine. The location is beautiful too - our room overlooked their...

We have stayed here several times over the past years and have sent lots of people to them too. Fenella and Steve are always the most amazing hosts. The food and wine was incredible , they are so welcoming and entertaining ( I haven't laughed so much in ages ) and don't get me started on the location! This is...

My partner and I needed to get out of the city and OMG this is seriously possibly the greatest place on earth to do just that. The scenery, the fresh air, the hospitality of Steve and Fenella was simply sublime ! The food and the wine were exceptional and in a place any Kiwi or Non Kiwi would enjoy and...
