Hotel has a stunning view of the majestic Mt. Cook. Spent one night only as part of the group tour. I wish we had more nights spent here. Rooms are spacious and full of amenities and most have the breathtaking view of the mountains. We had free WiFi in the room. Breakfast is good with many choices. Staff are friendly...

Well how to put this? A must see for enjoying Mother Nature the view the peaceful serenity of this amazing place where to even turn on the TV can be a violation of the surroundings. Then you go for dinner at the buffet, well now it goes down hill in a fast and furious pace , if we had known...

This hotel is nestled amongst the mountain that provides a stunning vista. Our room was big with two double beds, television, fridge, ironing board, and in-room safe. The staff are friendly. This hotel is approximately 45 minutes drive to Twizel, and an hours drive to Tekapo.

Finally we made it to the Hermitage. We were not disappointed. The room was great, only downside paying for wifi. The meals were good, the staff very helpful. and...the views to die for. Had great walks, pleasant refreshments, and amazing look at the Ed Hillary museum. Highly recommend to anyone. We will go back.

These are pretty nice rooms, with good size counter space, basic dishes, an in-room safe, iron and ironing board, phone clock, adequate outlets, and a luggage rack. There is also a small fridge, although it’s poorly designed because things kept falling out of it. The bathroom had a heated towel rack (that actually worked well!), shampoo, soap, lotion, shower cap,...

This hotel will make you feel like you're in a James Bond film. It is classy and cozy and from the beautiful drive here to toasting marshmallows by the crackling fire in the lounge I'm sure you'll enjoy your time! There are tons of walks and outdoor adventures as well as lots to do inside. There is a gift shop,...

A view. A good restaurant. Access to trails. Good wine at the bar. Clean. comfortable bed. Aspacious lobby to enjoy a fire and watch people. What's not to like? Just be ready for typical unpredictable weather.

Friendly staffs and relatively clean. But lack of facilities, outdated decor and musty carpet leaves a lot to be desired. Wifi is not free. But the hotel does provide some outdoor activities (i.e. Stargaze or hiking).

I was so impressed by the beautiful view from our room which had a balcony. A great idea to add binoculars as well. The Sir Edmund Hilary centre was great, loved the bar as well. Nice and cosy and got to toast marshmallows over the fire! A beautiful location and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Rooms were great. Buffet breakfast...
