My husband booked dinner, bed & breakfast just for one night on a whim to cheer us from the winter blues. We were greeted at reception & shown to a beautiful room looking over fields. We had drinks in the lounge which I understand has recently been refurbished, and it shows.

Stayed for a couple of nights to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Room was very large and comfortable with a pleasant sitting area with two sofas. Fresh milk in the fridge, complementary chocolates and biscuits etc.. Apart from a few cobwebs, I couldn't find fault with it. Wasn't

We have stayed at this hotel a few times because of its location to Chatsworth. It is a very nice, comfortable hotel with lovely staff. Unfortunately the food in the gallery restaurant doesn’t live up to expectations. The menu is quite restricted and on a three night stay I

Dear Sue Many thanks for the feedback. Sorry to learn of your disappointment with the food; I would be happy to talk about you in person in more detail should you wish. With regards variety, we of course do have our second Restaurant the Garden Room, which offers a completely separate menu in terms of style and content, which is intended to give greater choice for guests staying longer periods. I do hope you would not be deterred from visiting us on future occasions. Kind regards Philip Joseph

I agree, the initial walk would be too challenging for wheel chair use, but that accounts for very little of the walk. The hotel staff are very helpful and I have no hesitation in suggesting you ask them for helpful advice.

The Hotel offered to look after our bags when we arrived on the Friday. Unsure about tickets, but ours were purchased in advance. There was quite a queue when we arrived on Friday lunchtime for those without tickets.
