Didn't stay at the Akis but called in every evening for pre dinner cocktails, service was great and prices were the cheapest in Kamari - definitely worth a visit if your in Kamari, good spot to people watch an undiscovered gem in the heart of Kamari Sharon & Kev Over

Perfect location, bus station only 20 m far and the beach just a few steps away! Rooms are simple, nice and clean and the stuff very friendly! The free Wifi was a great plus. We spent most of our time in the cafe (good prices and friendly service). There are a lot of restaurants to chose from nerby the hotel.... More

After a warm welcoming, we expected a nice stay. It was much more than we expected! People at Akis were so nice and helpful that we felt like at home with friends. Though not a luxury hotel-who cares?- it was clean and confortable, breakfast and service very good and it's location-the best it could be. That's why we met there... More

Although we did not stay at the Hotel, we stumbled upon this gem on our third day. They serve the best Mojitos i have ever had. We went for a drink most evenings before our meal and then finished off with a brandy on our way home. Akis and his family are so welcoming and friendly and this became our... More

Akis, the hotel owner, and his wonderfull staff are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is about 1-2mins walk from the beach and 30sec walk from the bus stop for exploring other parts of the island. The rooms are simple (this isnt five star but who cares) but comfortable, clean and have a fridge which is a great bonus.... More

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. The owner and family are lovely people. The terrace at the front of the hotel is the perfect place to relax, no matter what the time of day, and the rooms are simple but very clean, and I found the refrigerator extremely useful in the heat! The hotel is also situated... More

Privileged position. The hotel owner, Akis, and his staff are very genial and helpful. In addition to hotel this hotel facilities have a bar services at a bargain. I took yogurt with fruits and Mojito every evening. Breakfast is fresh and rich.

There is no option on TA to review the Akis Hotel Bar which is situatated at the front of the hotel but as its a little gem I felt a review in the wrong place was better than no review at all. We were on holiday in Kamari Santorini for two weeks for a wedding and came across the Akis... More

We spend a week at hotel Akis. The owner was really friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect, not far from the beach but just enough that the noises from the bars won't disturb at night. Breakfast was continental and included in price. The room was comfy and cleaned every day. Really good price-quality for your money.

“There are three rooms that I was aware of that had a good view of the sea, nos. 6, 7, and 8.The minimal noise that comes from a restaurant on the opposite side of the road does not go on so late and the rooms in the hotel have shutters which completely obliterate any noise anyway. Maybe there are more rooms with sea views that I am unaware of...”
