Had a bunk room booked for three nights (all that was available), so were delighted to be changed into a cabin with an en-suite, even though it meant packing all our gear up and changing units after the 2nd night into the one right next door. Both of our units were clean and tidy, the host/s were very friendly, professional...

The lady in reception was very welcoming... The campsite as a whole wasn't too bad. Easy to pitch a tent on the grass. Kitchen was ok but dated Bathroom including shower was ok, shower was in a timer but I'm the price. Free wifi that was brilliant as I could use in my tent! If I was in the area...

After travelling around for 5 weeks, this place was a big disappointment. Beware, your credit card will be debited before you arrive. The host was away- staff were unable to relay the refund terms but felt free to tell me not to worry and to chill.

A very quaint and definitely older property located in the best local location. We stayed in a one bedroom cabinet with ensuite and it was ok for what we needed for the one night. Everything was clean and tidy. We liked the location and the proximity to the beach although it was still a good 5 - 10 min walk...

We stopped at this Holiday Park as part of our "Pet Friendly" North Island road trip. Of all the motels we stayed at, Baylys Beach Holiday Park had the best shower (great pressure) & good clean beds. Although the beach batches are retro, they are clean & comfy. It is also nice to be detached so you don't get noises...

Stopped here for three nights in my campervan. Prices reasonable facilities good although a bit tired. I am informed that these will be updated very soon :) Host very informative and helpful. Enjoyed the cliff tops walk, my daily exercise.

Unable to find Freedom camping in the area, we stayed @ this dated Holiday Park. The site offered space & was clean, a short distance to beautiful Tasman Sea overlooks. The facilities, kitchen, bathrooms & showers were dated but clean.

We stayed one night with kids in à campervan on our way between Cape Reinga and Auckland. We were welcomed by Trish who, although it was late, was very patient and kind in accommodating us and providing advice about having late dinner etc. Everything was clean and spacious. Trish' s husband was equally nice and accommodating the next morning when...

This accommodation suited us well, a team of 27 swimmers and 4 adults. The kitchen facilities were ample and the covered eating area was just perfect, especially as there was a storm on our last night. Some of the cabins were basic, but were suitable for the kids. The ensuite cabins were spotlessly clean and well equiped. A great place...
