What a stay here with Sir Mike and the rest. Wonderful people and what a house we got to stay in called Casablanca. Just wonderful. It lays right on the beach at a calm part a little bit away from the more crowded parts.

Ours was not the average stay...! Moving to the island for work with our 3 year old daughter, we arranged with Mike to stay at his Aabana Beach Resort on a long term basis... and so we know the place well ! And it turned out to be a fantastic choice. Mike, Diose, Elvira and all the staff, the location,...

We stayed here for a few days over the Christmas period and chose this accommodation based on reviews and lonely planet recommendation. I have to say we were disappointed that these reviews were not reflected in our stay. Firstly, only breakfast is available. They do not serve other meals. Breakfast was very basic in comparison to other places. Mike was...

Chose Aabana based on Lonely Planet. Made an initial booking, but I managed not to send the email. Mike still made space for me, even gave a nicer room for one night for the same price. After first night there was a Finnish flag on a pole outside the resort. A proper flag I mean. Never felt so welcome anywhere!...

I chose Aabana again because of the location at the quiet end of the beach, the cottage, which is perfect for chilling out.And the atmostphere that Mike and Diose have created there. A big welcome on our return, after Mike had arranged a van for us at a very good rate. Breakfast by the sea,on a very white beach.....Again,try the mango pancakes. Staff...

We stayed one night and left the next morning. We were charged 15-20% extra for our room based on electricity usage - where the room has a refrigerator running which you cannot disconnect. The guesthouse is located on the very far eastern side of the beach, far from restaurants and attractions (still a 10 min walk, small island). The next...

Nir Ben-Zvi, lets come to the truth . You used 16.1 Kilowatt, that is 16100 WATTS in 1 night. Dont know how you have done that. My staff told me you run the AC and electr,FAN and TV full power for 24 hours, even when you long time outside the room went for swimming/diving. Dont tell me you dont know...

My time in Malapascua was special thanks to my stay in Mike and Diose's resort. Sadly I couldn't met Diose because she was out of the island, but I bet she is as friendly and kind as her husband Mike! They have taken good care of their place, which is located at the end of Bounty Beach, and has a...

The owner was very nice which is what kept my rating from being lower but on the whole I was not very impressed. I would say the pros are that the rooms have very nice covered balconies, and that the resort is fairly quiet, and away from most of the islands foot traffic. However, I had a pretty negative experience....

Hi Ben Sorry for your bad experience about the Brownout. It happend after a tropical storm that late evening when a fallen coconut tree cut the power line going to the village INDONACION. We are tight up with our power line to that village. When i called the Power station they told me its impossible to repair the power line...
