The hotel in 5 minutes walk to sea coast. The room is simple but comfortable and clean. There is a conditioner inside a room. Very friendly owners of the hotel which always ready to help with any question. A breakfast is good: eggs, becon, bread, coffee and fruit of the day. Good combination of price and comfort. Maybe a refrigerator...

Room/resort was pretty basic, but good value for money. It was a bit far from the beach, a good 10mins walk, but not too far away from the recommended restaurants on the island. Overall, we didn't really mind because the island itself and the people were all amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer than our 5 days as there's...

Room was clean and staff were really pleasant and helpful. The earliest time that they normally serve bfast is 7am but they granted our request to prepare it by 6am since we had to leave early. The only downside was the AC. Lowest it can be set was at 26 celcius and i'm not sure why.

We had 3 nice night's at MGR. Owners are nice and polite and rooms are clean. No hot water and very bad pressure in the showers , other than that a nice place ! Never tried the food but drinks are ok.

We had a great time at the MGR! It is close to the ferry landing and easy to get to the beach or anywhere you want on the island. The beach is a short walk away. It is nice and quiet, with a well maintained beautiful garden between the the bungalows. The bungalows are spacious, new and clean. The staff...

I spent 4 nights there at the MGR. I reserved a budget room and it was not so bad. Nice staff and good internet connection. The resort has a well mantained garden and even if the location is not along the main beach, is well located. Negative point. The room was cleaned only once and only upon my request, even...

We stayed in this resort for two months while doing a diving course nearby. Cannot fault the resort lovely rooms and terrace. Extremely frendly and helpful staff and management/owners lovely gardens surrounding our room. Rooms do get hot but not surprising in malapascua but the room did have a very powerful fan to keep cool. Some small building work going...

Enjoyed our stay here. Nice, clean and comfortable. Low water pressure was only issue as it took about four times longer to take a shower. Breakfasts were great and set you up for the day. Would recommend on all counts except water pressure!!

We had a great fan room, a large fan which kept us cool at night. Room in pristine condition, hot water, balcony with chairs. Only negative is a 5 minute walk to the beach but this is also a possible way to get a better rate during the off season by just showing up.

We stayed there in Jauary 2015. The trip to/from the island was really challenging. First it took us about 4 hours by bus from Cebu and then 1 hour by boat. But it was worth. Luz and her staff did all there best to feel us comfortable. Dear Luz, a lot of thanks for your hospitality, help and your terrific smile!!!...
