I stayed here after spending a few days in Guadalajara's Centro. The owners were charming and helpful, the entire facility was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. I had a balcony overlooking the lovely garden which I recommend if you can get it.

We had stayed here for one night back in Feb. and decided on 4 nights for this visit. This B&B fits our preferred model for a place to stay - authentic Mexican architecture with outdoor spaces to be enjoyed. The couple who owns and runs this B&B are great people and can be so helpful. While parking is a couple...

I really admired the architecture of the bed and breakfast: thick adobe walls, colorful tile, large solid wood furniture, colorful tile, and a great floor plan-everthing well thought out and located a few blocks to the plaza which has an array of different stores and activities. The bnb is quieter than many places in the city and you feel like...

Tlaquepaque should not be missed. I don't like shopping, but I do here. Each shop has the most interesting items and Tlaquepaque is pure eye candy. Stayed for one night here and was totally comfortable. The room was immaculate and the bed was just right. It's an easy 2 block walk to the Jardin where the shops and restaurants are....

What a great B&B. The staff, grounds, and accommodations were lovely. The inner courtyard is charming as the fourth wall of the entry and dining areas. Watching the hummingbird family embellish their nest as I had my morning coffee and fresh papaya was fabulous. I can't wait to go back and enjoy their hospitality again.

This is a very well located property, only a few minutes walk to everything you'll want to see. Expect a hotel style room complete with private washroom, a park like private lawn in the back and breakfast every morning. The people couldn't be nicer, the property couldn't be cleaner or better maintained.

Since we were planning one night in Tlaquepaque the day we arrived, we decided to try something new. Upon arriving, the owners were very accommodating with our reservation and their parking arrangements. While not huge, our room was comfortable and small details like quality towels were certainly appreciated! The continental breakfast was a nice touch and we would definitely recommend...

I was in Tlaquepaque for just about an hour or so a few years back whilst staying in Ajijic & knew that one day I wanted to return. Well I had a chance just a couple of weeks ago & stayed At La Casa del Retono. When the taxi arrived at the door I was wondering if this really was...

Best "huevo rancheros" I have EVER eaten, and I live in California where there's lots of good Mexican food. Note: egg dishes at breakfast cost 25 pesos, the basic breakfast is free. Exceptionally helpful and friendly hosts, great location, reasonably priced.

There is not a lot more to add to the other reviewers' posts. While we were hesitant because we are not fans of B&B's and the potential company at the large breakfast table, we were relieved when we met the owners, the mother-in-law, the young daughter, and of course "Rabbit" the rabbit. We were fortunate that the communal breakfast was...
