This was our starting point for the day on the Ring of Kerry. The room was perfect for 3 adults traveling together with separate beds. Great yummy breakfast. Sweet hostess. Don't be afraid of noise from the bar, I didn't hear a peep.

Four of my friends and I found ourselves at The Anvil Bar on our way back to Galway from Dingle. From the minute we walked in, we felt welcomed and at home. The food was delicious and the drinks were as well. We were even invited to walk across the street and meet Florence O'Sullivan, a fourth generation blacksmith. We...

I stayed at the Anvil with my mom, sister and brother-in-law for a few nights in early September 2016. Clean, cozy rooms with skylights for extra light. Great for the price. Rooms are on the third floor so we didn't hear any pub noise down below, and not much street noise either. Liz the proprietor was lovely and the right...

Looking for a lively pub with music for Sunday evening, this is the place. And the food was excellent. Joe makes the best fish and chips. Not a real young crowd this evening, which suited us. We're a group of 8 American "lassies" of retirement age who like to have fun. Everyone liked their meal.

Friendly welcome and very good fish and chips and beer sourced locally. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside and has a decent size outside eating section at the back. Irish football playing on the tv and locals present gives this an authentic feel

My boyfriend and I stayed with Liz and Stephen for a short midweek break, and we were delighted with the service and especially late access to rooms - hard to find in a family run B&B. The pub has a very relaxed local atmosphere and Liz is very knowledgeable and eager to inform about the surrounding area. The Guinness is...

Liz and her team are very friendly and hard-working during the high season. A special thanks to the cooker Joe who prepared my Irish beef burger (the best I had after travelling 2 weeks in Ireland) a second time because I broke my plate! This is very convenient to have the the pub downstairs and there is no noise in...

I wanted to love this place going in and I pretty much did. The start was a little rocky with a mix up in our reservation. The management made it right, however, and our room was very comfortable and clean. Also, the first night they had run out of several of the menu items on their small menu, which was...
