We were 35 guests that arrived there for an overnighter traveling by Harley motorcycles. I ordered a soda float and after waiting for 40 minutes heard that they didn't have ice cream. Ordered salad. No olives. Lettuce was wilted. Friends waited 45 minutes for a toasted sandwich. Bar ran out of ice. We went to town and bought our own....

I camped there on 27 January. The campsite was dug up with channels everywhere. The electricity wasn't working even after "fixed "it several times. There was no power in the ablutions because the wires were lying all over the floor. Only one shower is trickling. There was music blaring doof doof until two in the morning. This morning a loud...

We have stayed in this astablishment after a long drive ands not having found space in our preferred lodge. Chosen the luxury room to be on the safe side, it was absolutely not worth it, in the contrary. Have a look at the pictures i have taken...disgusting, really. We have had a heavy thunderstorm and we have paid by check-in,...

I stayed in the campsite on a recent motorbike trip through Africa with my twin brother. I enjoyed my stay, when in Africa during the dry season it's heaven to camp on lush green grass. The ablution facilities are split up with showers on the one side and the toilets on the other. Strange but practical arrangement. The night the...

Shady campsites with braais and electricity. Shared ablutions are ok, but could do with an upgrade. Sadly when we were there hot water was not available and electricity was not working on half the campsites. Cool old bus with good views of the river from the top.

This place with it's potential remains poorly maintained. I was booked in their N $660 luxury rooms. To my disappointment it was no where close to luxury, not even close to standard type for places similar to it. Shower was not working so I got moved to a different room. Not much difference there as things look like they were falling...

My group and I spent a lot of time in Rundu working, we stayed overnight within the local community, but on our days off we visited the different lodges. We never had much money, and a number of places disapproved of us being there (as we where not big spenders!) however the staff at Ngandu where absolutely amazing! They where...

Price for camping: 90 N$/pp Very good, clean, even grass. Pool. Free wifi. They have rooms too (expensive). Beautiful wooden chalets, german style in Namibia. Close to the supermarkets and town but calm location, but not on the river shore. Tips about Namibia: Viajes con Mochila, our experience! Enjoy.

Finding out that you suddenly need to stay over in Rundu late at night, makes one panic. I was traveling with my 3 month old baby and nanny. Someone recommended Ngandu. One phone call and everything was organized, on arrival the gentleman at reception helped us quickly and friendly. (Which is great especially if you are exhausted and just want...

I arrived into Rundu at 9pm without knowing of any accommodation and so just went to the first lodge I was recommended. In that respect, I was grateful simply to have a place to stay. I was initially going to camp but decided to get a budget room at a reasonable rate of N$250, approximately US$20. It was a spacious...
