I spent 2 nights in this hotel. Hotel is located couple of blocks from the central square of Gracias. I had a room on the highest floor, with the view of the town and hills around. The hotel is beautifully decorated, very green, lots of flowers. The room was not big, but comfortable, good shower, comfortable bed. There is no...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Guancasco last weekend. The rooms are clean and had a nice view of the city. Breakfast, which is included, was good. The hotel also contacted a tour guide for us for a hike in Celaque. He took us on a 3 hour hike the next day and the hike was great. Would recommend...

Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere with clean rooms, hot water, and green practices. We have stayed twice, and do not recommend the rooms that are directly below the restaurant and they can be bit noisy. The rooms tucked behind the garden are much quieter.

I love this quaint hotel and restaurant. The grounds are so pretty. The hammocks and chairs outside of the rooms are comfy and inviting. The rooftop view is wonderful. Rooms are clean with plenty of hot water. I had breakfast and dinner every night and the food was very good. I loved the Anafres (hot bean dip) served in traditional...

Pros: Nice spot with good views over the city from the roof terrace. Restaurant is good and not too expensive Cons: Wifi is very weak all over the hotel (not necessarily a problem for everyone) Also when we returned from dinner out one evening (at about 10pm) the night guard had locked everything up but then gone for a break....

I have stayed at Guancascos on 3 separate occasions and it never disappoints. The grounds are fabulous and take you away from the dusty roads and bumpy streets of Lempira. Rooms are clean and hammocks outside the rooms make it a great place to lounge around and enjoy the weather, birds singing and tropical atmosphere. The food is great as...

We stayed one night in Guancascos hotel in January 2017. The rooms are nice and clean and the green surroundings create a good atmosphere to kick back and relax in a hammock. The staff was friendly and the breakfast is good and is served with a nice view of the town. The granola yogurt is recommended, particularly if you've reached...

Stayed a week with a group of Habitat for Humanity volunteers at this hotel. The gardens on the grounds are well kept and provide a beautiful environment. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. I did from time to time smell sewage in the bathroom, but keeping windows open and air flowing rectified the situation. (Not serious, but enough to mention)....

At first we felt the price was a bit high, however our group had a great time relaxing on the deck with the beautiful views and excellent hot chocolate. We also appreciated the private parking space for our rental car, as well as breakfast being included. The rooms are very comfortable with a private hammock hanging outside the front. Beautiful...

Guancascos is a nice comfortable, clean, modestly price property with great restaurant and great service It is located right at the heart of Gracias Lempira; the rooms are modest but very clean and some of them provide a great view of the town.
