La Posada de Don Juan is unquestionably the nicest property in Gracias. However a series of details take away from an outstanding experience. The water in the sink would take way too long to go down the drain, the sheets on my bed were a misfit, full size sheets in a queen bed...Service was friendly, but with a tendency to... More

Loved La Posada de Don Juan, stayed in room 221 and highly recommend it. Complimentary breakfast was DELIGHTFUL! Gotta try the chicharron hashbrowns, definitely a recipe I will be using at my next brunch.

This was our second time staying at the La Posada de Juan, and although we were very pleased the first time (that's why we stayed again), this stay was very disappointing. First, the internet didn't work, and when my children complained the girl at the front desk apologized and said she knew nothing about how to correct it (It did... More

The staff were great, hospitable and ready to serve. We had a large group and were welcomed with friendly faces! After a week, I got to know the staff, and were really fun. Hopefully I get to see them again!

Stayed here with a large missions group in July 2013. Since we pretty much took over the hotel, there was a great deal of patience required by the staff and they rose to the occasion each time. Though this isn’t a 5 star establishment in the traditional sense, the service offered by the staff is top notch. We ate buffet... More

We had a great time at the hotel and encountered flexible and beyond helpful staff. Free breakfasts. The only thing that could have been better was the clarity of when room attendants enter the room, perhaps a Do Not Disturb door handle. There was a brief and comedic incident when a maid entered the room without me being dressed.

Two stays a year apart (one for two nights; one for five nights) suggest this hotel, located in the downtown area of Gracias, Lempira, is consistently gracious and welcoming. Both times I stayed with family in rooms facing the pool area. Despite being "poolside", the rooms were quiet, even on a day of an important soccer match. The beds are... More
