Superb friendly and caring service from all staff, excellent room with large balcony overlooking the beach and sea, food was of good standard. The beds were amongst the most comfortable we have had anywhere. A special mention to Alex and Avelina and all the team on reception who were very welcoming and so very helpful when my husband needed medical attention. And to Juan and Johnny who ensured the restaurant ran like clockwork. Our specific requests prior to arrival were all answered promptly and actioned. We were glad to have booked private transfers to and from the airport with the hotel. It was all very easy and efficient. The evening entertainment was unexpected but most enjoyable, with some very talented performers. We would have liked the extra charges (drinks, lunches etc) to have specified by date on the final bill. As we often signed a screen for these which usually did not show the amount, we would like this to have been easier to check at the end. And we would have expected a hotel of this quality to have provided a coffee machine in the room, but at least there was a kettle. We last visited the hotel some years ago, and it did not disappoint this time. We will definitely return here as we both found it so relaxing and "easy". A huge thank you to all the staff who are undoubtedly responsible for the smooth running of the hotel and are the reason so many guests return year after year.

Hotel's Favourite
Fabulous location by the beach and sea with most rooms having a sea view. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very good facilities with indoor and outdoor pools and some spa facilities. Various types of room and ours had a terrace, with beds and table, onto the garden. Some higher level rooms have amazing views and some have larger balconies. Buffet meals are very good but after 2 weeks we would have preferred more a la carte type food.

We had a much needed week here. Weather was not the best, but nothing can be done for that. Lovely welcome, with a local gin from Alex (he runs his reception team and guest services so well) First impressions DO count Our room wasn't ready, no problem, the luggage whisked away, we had lunch and a sangria (fresh) at the beach bar. Our room with a seaview and large balcony was more than we expected. Spotless and warm. A safe and a fridge , huge clean, comfortable bed. Fluffy white clean towels, changed often. Our room was kept pristine by the lovely Iris, a hard working, smiley lady, she kept it spotless. The food was very good ( a menu for dinner is displayed outside dining room every morning). Plenty choice at both breakfast and lunch. Again exeded expectations. Lovely white table linen and HOT plates. very varied menu plus a fresh cooking station. A good wine list. Service is good and staff are so helpful and on top of their game. We liked the staff here very much, not intrusive, always peasnat and smiling, dressed smartly. It was so good to see most guests dressing for dinner ( a generation thing ) Only saw a handful of small children/ babies here. Entertainment very classy, made for a lovely atmostphere in the evening. The best..hope he will go far ( he should) was the young sax player on Sunday night, what an entertainer, he had us all in the palm of his hand ( I would pay to go and watch his show) The others were good too. Cocktails were well made, bit pricey, but normal for a hotel like this. Bar staff were also attentive. The only negative was the lifts are very slow. We do hope to return here. Alex and the team made us feel at home..Thank you. Wishing you all a busy, happy summer season We had room 210.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks at the Hotel Santo Tomas in Menorca. We had originally booked a hotel in a different resort but a few weeks before we were due to go we were told that particular hotel was closing for October. Seth Hotels, the parent company, gave us the option to stay at the Hotel Santo Tomas instead. That was a stroke of good fortune because the hotel is excellent. The service was outstanding and the staff were superb. Alex and Mafe at reception were very professional and accommodating and in the restaurant we were vey well looked after by a great team, especially Joanna and Nineta. The food was very good, definitely 4 star standard. The room was very good with an excellent sea view - we were upgraded after 3 days, an added bonus. We made the most of the 2 pools, the indoor pool was a good alternative to the main outdoor pool, which was, of course, excellent. One big plus is the proximity of the beach to the hotel, it's literally a 30 second walk ! There is also a very good beach bar serving snacks and drinks which is a good place to eat lunch - we stayed on a half board basis. We didn't find anything we didn't like about our stay and will certainly go back. Well done to all the staff at Hotel Santo Tomas. Gracias y hasta luego.

Perfect family holiday for a relaxing and quiet pool and beach venue! 2 adults and boys ages 5 and 3. The beach suites with garden and jacuzzi were fab and the easy access to the very clean beach with clear shallow sea was ideal making everything stress free. Staff all incredibly friendly and welcoming with a good buffet selection for breakfast and dinner. Nice sloping pool with lots of space and grass areas, all very well kept. Thank you!

Margaret T I visited the Hotel Santo Tomas last year with my daughter and loved it. This year I decided I would, of necessity, take a holiday on my own at the age of 86 and there was only one hotel I knew would make me most welcome. I had a wonderful time and everyone was very kind and helpful. On reception Mafe, Nura and Alex were very friendly and efficient as were Juan Ramos and his staff in the restaurant. The hotel was very clean with exceptionally comfortable beds and beautiful views of the beach and sea - which is literally right on the doorstep. The sunbeds are in the lovely gardens which were very peaceful and quiet. Santo Tomas itself is a small resort with a handful of hotels but for more active visitors wonderful walks along the coast. It is probably, in my opinion, more suited to mature guests than young people, which makes for a very relaxing holiday. Other reviews have remarked on the wide choice of good food etc.and I would totally agree. Thank you to everyone for making my first solo holiday a very special experience and I look forward to coming back next year. As a returning guest I also had a lovely surprise gift of delicious Menorcan cheese to take home and enjoy.

Santo Tomas is a wonderful resort and this is probably the best hotel in the resort, it would have been lovely had it been adult only but sadly it was not. Lovely staff, very clean well located hotel. We paid extra for a sea view but were squashed into a corner room with almost a shared small balcony, it did have a full sea view but due to the design of the hotel the balcony was very small and was very overlooked by others. Thank goodness we had lovely neighbours. For the price we paid the room was spartan not 4*+ (we have stopped in much better with less stars) but it had a fridge, kettle and coffee, tea, etc which was replenished daily, sadly only cream pots not milk. The bed was beautiful and offered a very comfortable sleep. The bathroom was tired and smelt of cabbage. Wonderful daily cleaning service by very friendly staff. Cold deep pool but very refreshing after a dip in the warmer sea. The garden sun loungers were plagued by wasps and flies and then uncontrolled noisy children!!! The terrace of the dining room offered lovely views and was by far the nicest place to sit (if weather permitted) as the inner terrace was taken over by coach parties and group bookings, The inner dining room was full of noisy children and smoke from 'show cooking', obviously busy as people were at the buffet service area. The daily buffet was extensive and barely warm, cheese and deserts were pestered by flies. The main dishes were slow to be replenished as several other people have commented on, and consisted of cheap meats stewed and cold barely cooked vegetables. Limited choice for vegetarians, non for vegans. As it was near the end of the season supermarkets were low on stock and some were closing for the season. It would be handy to note that if you are not hiring a car the bus service runs only 3 times per day.

We were allocated room 101 and It was superb. It had a huge balcony with table chairs and sun beds and sunshine from sunrise to sunset. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had 1 horrendous day with wall to wall storms. Normally we went to the beach restaurant where we bought lunch but it was too wet. The staff not only moved service into the main lounge, they fetched menus and we saw them offering room service to guests . It was noticeably a hotel for older guests reflected by the quietness and low key entertainment on 3 of a 7 night stay. No problem but worth staying if you want more as the resort was also very quiet with only a few basic shops and a couple of bars. There was an opportunity to eat at other hotels in the resort in the same group - we didn’t because we loved the restaurant, sitting on the terrace most evenings with superb sea views and a gentle breeze. I didn’t use the outdoor pool because it was too cool. However I swam in the heated indoor pool every day and would recommend it highly. The beach was very popular and busy with more people going in the sea than I have seen before. Finally I must mention the staff again , many were from South America and it was so interesting listening to their stories . I tried speaking some Spanish and was always encouraged, all of them were so Patient with my halting efforts. Thank you Santo Tomas for a lovely relaxing holiday.

From the minute we arrived, the staff have been superb. Always helpful, and, exceptionally well led, by Avelina. Nothing is too much trouble. We were fortunate, to be upgraded, to a Mini-Suite, but all the rooms are excellent, and the cleanliness, second to none. Location is superb, with a wonderful sandy bay right outside - wonderful views. The restaurant is excellent, much of the food being prepared on the grill - great choice, for all pallets. Overall - excellent..........but the staff make it!
