The most of the resort isn't 5* (there are some new suites which obviously are, but the majority are 4ish). Though, the room was clean and spacious. The pools are VERY cold. Alcohol was branded and lots on offer. I enjoyed the food, but my husband (who is more picky) struggled (rabbit, calamari - not his thing, burger night was a riot with guests elbowing to get in). Entertainment and mini disco were excellent, though I'm not sure I'd want to do it during peak season. Wasps are terrible - we were all stung. Check-in a very slow process. TUI, direct transfers (so only 20mins from airport). I'd go back.

Just, NEVER AGAIN...!!! Almost close to 4*... Terrible service, poor entertainment, Mexican restaurant: forget it. Hotel with lack of staff, which makes them working hard, not happy and most of them leaving before season ends.

Went with my daughter , what could be a very nice hotel but was spoilt by the wasps everywhere when you wanted to get a drink in the machines , tiles were chipped and a trip hazard , was sold as platinum hotel by tui and is far from it , food is nice , drinks in restaurants and service is nice but there is it here things that let this hotel down , animation were excellent though

It was nice to be back, with my children (10 & 6) & this time my parents too. We had a great week, hotel accommodated our request for adjacent rooms & we were lucky enough to be given sea view rooms without paying the additional at booking due to my mum’s limited mobility (ie we were at bottom end of resort). Food was good & varied as I had remembered. We are in the main restaurant throughout. Pool (bottom) was where we camped out & kids had a great time. I agree with previous posters that the wasp issue needs desperately to be dealt with. We drank only water around the pool as anything else just made us an instant target! Staff were friendly and nice to see faces I remembered from previous visits. Entertainment team also did a great job too. Thanks! If the wasps are controlled I’ll be back :)

This is the third time we have stayed here, 2017, 2019 and this year. And hope to be back again sometime. Can't find any fault. Helpful friendly staff, spotlessly clean, food and drink plentiful and high standard. Fantastic location with easy access to public transport.

Rooms were spacious /clean & comfortable. Food was excellent, so much choice. Something for everyone. Drinks were not cheap brands & also free flowing. Resort ideal for families or couples but it is hilly & has lots of steps so if you are not very good on your legs maybe not for you

A lovely hotel complex in a beautiful location. Our apartment was a generous size and the dinky hidden mini kitchen was a bonus, There were 3 swimming pools so plenty of choice for families with young children and we made good use of the tennis courts. The spa was excellent too. Fantastic staff who went out of their way to be helpful.

2nd visit to hotel. Still generally good for family holiday. Rooms fine, restaurants and food choice good and swimming pools very good. Staff were all nice and resort is small and quiet. Local beach is a short walk but nice. There is an excellent small bay accessed by a good 45 min walk which is brilliant for snorkelling.

We enjoyed our stay at the Punta prima. We have stayed there before so knew what to expect. The rooms are a good standard and lovely and clean. We enjoyed the animation and the activities for the children, kids club and mini disco were excellent. The only let down was on food and drink. Mainly drink. Where we felt they were trying to run the stock down. By the end of our holiday the serve yourself soft drink pumps were all empty and therefore you had to queue unnecessarily at the bar. This was at more than one bar. Some of the alcoholic drinks were out of stock at some bars and not others. You got the feeling they were winding down and not wanting to provide their usual service which was a shame.

This was our first abroad trip with our little one. This hotel had everything you could ask for to keep him entertained as well as me and my partner. The kids splash pool area and play areas are great and he had an amazing time running around these areas. If I was being picky I'd say they could perhaps do a better range of cocktails but understand for the quick service, quick easy options are easier for the staff to stick too. However the staff were happy to make drinks if they had the right spirits or mixers with no problems. The food could have had a bit more selection, again this is if I was being very picky, but again understandable as we went out of main season but we still never failed to have a good meal so not even a real complaint. The last couple of days our son was unfortunately admitted to hospital for a few days meaning we had to stay over our initial check out date and missed our flight home. The hotel were amazing in supporting us and kept our room for us until we were discharged and managed to get a flight home. Communication with the hotel was easy and they were very understanding and provided us with all the paperwork etc we needed to claim back the extras from the hotel off the insurance. They were happy to print out boarding passes etc for us at no extra charge. Up until the point of our little boy going to hospital we were having a great first holiday with little man. If it wasn't for the hotel and TUI the holiday could have completely gone to pots. If you are looking at staying here I wouldn't hesitate to book and stay here, definitely a great shout and we will be looking to return at some point in the future.
