Hotel not a 5 star but 3. Food was ok to be onest I’m Italian so knowing about food! Kids loved it great entertainment at night . family hotel 100% but if you think you are a 5 star hotel, you have never been in one then!! Room was bad (and was just renovated in 2021) bad cheap furniture and beds so uncomfortable I wake up every morning with sore back! My wife too! You couldn’t have an intimate night you could hear everyone and everybody next room I will see it’s a residence not a hotel 🏨 All the staff where very good nice people Olso they need to sort wasp 🐝 situation millions of them around the pool my wife got bite 2 time bad. You can’t relax for a second all over you Overall I paid 1200£ for a week 4 of us all inclusive so no bad for what we got but again don’t book if you really wanted to stay at 5 start hotel, it’s not sorry I know you will come up with a smart reply but this is a genuine review to make everyone understand! And the 🐝 it’s just so bad

This is an excellent resort with great facilities, we booked a week in October and caught the end of the season, be aware that the Prestige suits close towards the end of October until the following year, the accommodation was excellent and the five or six restaurants along the beachfront all served affordable and high quality food. I would highly recommend the resort especially the prestige suits as you have your own communal pool and restaurant.

Prestige suite was very comfortable and convenient for a very well tended pool with very comfortable sun loungers. The small dining room, with outside dining area overlooking the garden and sea was very friendly. We were looked after by very friendly staff.

The food was shocking for a 5 star resort, on a few days the food being ice cold in the middle. We were places in a room that didn't lock and had this "fixed" 3 times to then have to move rooms mid evening after having to kick off to even get moved. Aside from the reception staff the rest of the staff have been amazing! The hotel itself is spotless. But existing on beans on toast and chip butties due to the fear of under cooked food isn't my idea of 5 star

My family 1,3,7 year old with my partner have been here for two weeks. Firstly the only part of this hotel that is 5 star is the very expensive suites. The grounds are lovely, the rooms adequate and clean, the pools are fine, with plenty of beds. The “swim up bar” well that’s not open. The food, well it’s boring, cold, re cooked, same old rubbish every day. 3 star food at best. The “sandy beach” is tiny and very rocky, dangerous for young children. Last food today was cold chips, which were sent back, much to the dismay of the staff who looked at me like “how dare you want hot food” again not very 5 star. TUI really need to stop lying about the hotel being 5 star, also selling the beach as though it’s stunning. Also the evening “mini disco” consisted of the staff dressed at Native Americans making whooping sounds and just constantly talking, not very much disco. Plus they make the young kids wait until gone 8pm, ridiculous. I shan’t be coming back here, I’d have been more fed up if we didn’t get such a cheap deal.

Whilst the rooms themselves are huge, more like an apartment, the decor is very dated. There’s a super king bed, a pull down single bed in the lounge and a single sofa bed. There’s sliding doors between the bedroom And lounge. A big tv in the lounge and a small one in the bedroom. A few uk tv channels. Free Wi-Fi. Not a smart tv. The cleaning service is very good - plenty of clean towels and bedding. There is also a turn down service in the evening for the pull down bed. We also had a cot which they provided. There’s no barrier between the Prestige bit and the main AI hotel, you can use all the facilities. The site is massive with quite a steep hill up to the top bit. The prestige bit is at the bottom near the sea. The prestige bit is 52 rooms and most have partial view of the sea. There are 5 with swim up pools and 5 with rooftop jacuzzis. Think you can only book those directly with the hotel. Overall There are 3 pools and a kids splash park. The prestige pool is very clean and was very quiet all Week. There is a small kids pool attached. All the pools are cold, including the ones in the main AI hotel. The swim up rooms also have very cold pools (we were told). If you’re staying at the prestige you can only be B&B or Half Board, there’s no option to upgrade to AI. The restaurant at the Prestige is marketed as a la carte but it’s not, it’s essentially a buffet with table service for drinks. It’s supposed to be much better than the main AI restaurant next door but it’s still not a la carte. There’s a chef there at breakfast making eggs / omelettes and dinner cooking meat and fish for you, but the rest of it is self service. Can’t fault the staff though, they were very attentive. You can order drinks at night but the wine is quite expensive and water is €5 a bottle. A cappuccino was €6 which is ridiculous. There are 2 other restaurants which are also marketed as a la carte - an Italian and a Mexican. We didn’t get to try either though as they were fully booked all week. Which is ridiculous given it’s the last week of September and the hotel is empty. The kids club, splash pool, playgrounds are great for little ones. The gym is good but doesn’t open till 8am. The big pool at the top is full size (25m) so good for swimming lengths. The lively pool at the bottom had music and activities all day - fine if that’s what you want. There is a big problems with ants, flies and wasps. Never noticed it so bad on holiday before. They’re everywhere - you can’t sit comfortably outside to eat. And if you drop a bit of food by accident in your room (easily done with toddlers) you’re overrun quite quickly. Hotel definitely needs to do something about it. We noticed it was the same at the Aire restaurant down on the beach so maybe it’s a local issue. Two nice things to do are get the Ting Ting train to Binibeca and also do a day trip to Mahon - do the gin tasting and the glass bottom boat trip of the harbour.

Dear Geri83, We would like to thank you for taking the time to write your impressions after your stay with us, and let us know about your concerns. We are pleased to know that you were able to enjoy both the tranquility of the Prestige area and all the services of our neighbouring hotel, such as our beautiful swimming pools, and the splash park for the little ones. It is a pity that you did not ask at the reception as we can open the gym on request before the set time. We are sorry for the problem of flies and wasps, this is a problem we are trying to find an ideal solution for, although being an open struture it is difficult to get rid of them. We are happy to see that you were able to discover the charming village of Binibeca with this nice little train, and make an excursion to Mahon which is a nice day excursion. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again, With best regards

Another excellent stay in Insotel. This was our sixth stay. The staff all work tirelessly and nothing is too much trouble. The Mexican restaurant is fantastic as is the Italian. We managed to book and eat at both and were very impressed. We thank you for another fantastic stay and see you next year!

We had actually booked the main Insotel but got upgraded on arrival to prestige and WOW. Beautiful huge apartment, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, we were spoilt. 2 bathrooms, huge living room. Perfect for us and a toddler for 10 days. We were relieved of the upgrade because the pool area is prestige is quiet and calm and we often had the baby pool to ourselves. the pools in the main hotel always seemed chaotic and too noisy, booming music, huge amounts of people- we were glad not to be staying that side. We were all inclusive and enjoyed the food, plenty of variety, the wait staff are very attentive. Ants in the accommodation were a problem but we bought a fantastic little repellant to put on the floor from the supermarket for €3.50, and bring mosquito repellant! We were provided with a travel cot with clean sheets provided- no need to bring your own. Plenty of high chairs available in the restaurant. Nice to leave a tip for the hard working cleaners who left our room looking gorgeous every day. Hairdryer was poor so I’d suggest you bring your own. The additional Mexican restaurant you are allowed to use once a week was not welcoming- staff rushing to get you in and out as fast as possible, not attentive to drinks orders. Apart from the minor bits we loved it and will be going back! The splash pad is fantastic for babies and toddlers. The beach there isn’t great but there is a fun little train that takes you to binnebequer beach for €4.50 each and it’s AMAZING. Beautiful clear warm sea perfect for children.

Firstly, the staff are amazing from the reception staff and restaurant staff to the cleaners. The suite we had was sizable and functional for our needs only issue we had was the key card stopped working a few times but reception sorted it quickly and even sent someone to let me in which my husband was sorting it out. The facilities are second to none, pools are lovely and clean with the grill and bar right next to it for a cheeky sangria or ice cream. Only issue we had was we couldn’t book the Italian for our anniversary so they said we could book the grill for the evening but as it was out of season the grill was not open. The bar manager eva quickly sorted us a table at the Italian and Hugo was ready waiting for us with a beautiful bottle of rioja to apologise. Beautiful views from that restaurant defiantly worth a book for couples. The spa is very good Yolanda has magic hands i fell asleep while she was giving my knot release massage it was bliss. The other spa staff are so friendly and helpful let my husband use the spa while I had my massage and then I joined him. The tui experiences were great we went on a boat trip and gin tasting with carmen she was a local and told us lots of interesting facts about Menorca. Our other trip was round bina becca which is a beautiful white town and the cliff bar/pirate cave which is a must go to for some Insta photos. Alvin was our tour guide then and he had lots of information and was very interesting to talk to he speaks 7 languages!
