It was a Casa(family home)and not really a hostel as only one room hand bunk beds. The family were very accomodating and though the wife spoke no English she used the translator. However, the husband spoke English fluently and we were able to have a wonderful conversation in the evening. The bed and the room was comfy, the courtyard is a good place to relax or have breakfast. The bathroom was clean and had good water pressure including hot water. Wifi was strong throughout the property. Breakfast was wholesome. Location was less than a 3min walk to the main square and in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. This was an excellent value for money Casa and I wish I had booked for 2nights as Juayua is a nice colonial town to visit.

Horrible place so dirty an noisy. Completely overpriced, 35$ no breakfast. Shower bad, staff ok, lots of mouskitos, no aircon,... could not recommand to stay here!! Ruta de las flores has some nice places with paintings on the walls. The hike to the waterfalls couldn‘t do it, no more time left.
