The best place to go in summer is Nainital. We stayed at the Naini Retreat in Royal Suites for 2 nights and 3 days on a plan which included all meals and sightseeing.

I myself faced some problem, not with the road but with GPS actually :) it was showing a way which was found closed at a dead end after few mins, so I had to drive on back gear for ~1 km, but I had prior experience of driving in the hilly regions, so that was fine with me.. nJoy your vacations...!!!
That's one challenge with this resort. One has to climb down a good number of stairs from the parking to the reception. This is not an old age friendly property or for people with issues in negotiating a flight of stairs... More
That's one challenge with this resort. One has to climb down a good number of stairs from the parking to the reception. This is not an old age friendly property or for people with issues in negotiating a flight of stairs. The restaurant is on a floor below the reception. We had our superior room on a floor above. Thus you would need to go down 1-2 floors for food. The bar and the open air grill is a floor below the restaurant.
