Unfortunately booked by a friend, we were unlucky to have a weekend stay here. Average temperatures were 36 degrees and we were all given rooms without air conditioning. It is not an exaggeration to say it was at least 5 degrees hotter in the room, despite keeping the curtain drawn and window open. We asked to be moved and were bluntly told No. The second day the uncomfortable room was making me feel ill so we asked for a fan which was grudgingly provided. The fridge did not work so no cold drinks either. The shower rail is broken, the shower and bidet leaked and the bathroom cupboard was rotten from water damage. On the plus side the breakfast was average. Dreadful and overpriced!!
