I've only been to the wellness centre, brand new and cutting edge, the beautician is very kind, not even the Porretta spa has such a beautiful spa. I haven't seen the hotel. However, I have heard that the food is very good.

Old, disheartening, very outdated.
Very small room, furnished in a dull way.
Mold on the walls and ceiling.
Really tiny bathroom, with a 70x70 shower and a broken water sprayer that doesn't spray well and without the possibility of fixing it to the wall. Definitely bad.
VC old and peeling. Only one towel.
Poor breakfast is disappointing.
I have been to Porretta several times, I had never tried this establishment, but I certainly won't be returning.

Somewhat relieved after the very mixed reviews! Bed was comfortable enough, breakfast was acceptable & service reasonable. Although we didn't use either the spa or restaurant - we were in town for the annual soul music festival - we found things ok.
Could have done without the 7 euro a day surcharge for aircon though!

Hotel to be renovated, in the rooms overlooking the main road which is busy and very noisy night and day requires air conditioning which is not there to be able to keep the window closed, the bathroom does not have a window and in our case we asked for the day after to change rooms. The owner responded to my request with arrogance and this is never allowed for those who are in contact with the public, I had asked for two extra pillows and in five days I didn't get them. To finish, the breakfast was disappointing for who like me prefers savory to sweet!! Avoid!!

A terrible hotel, at any price, let alone over €100/night. So much mold in the shower, we couldn't use it. Very hot room without a fan, and standing water on the immediately adjacent roof brought mosquitos, so no open window. Broken door knob. Surly proprietor. Simply unpleasant. Many substantive poor reviews and more very brief reviews with high scores...makes one wonder. Stay elsewhere.

We were given a large, clean room. It's in a great location and they have reserved parking. Very friendly and helpful staff.
We had a nice dinner in their restaurant and celiac disease was managed well. The spa is very nice and equipped with every comfort.
If we were to return to Porretta we would happily stay here again.

+ can't say anything, as i escaped immediately and didn't sleep there.
- i have expected a room similar to what i have seen on the homepage. what i got was a desaster... i guess some prisoners get more comfort. broken tiles on the floor, furniture from the 50's. i even would not call it furniture... a tiny little window with almost no daylight... and the person in charge was obviously not very polite when i told him that i am not going to stay.

Standart 3 stars hotel, small room, window with no view (more exactly courtyard view and very high concrete wall.....really!!!), good bathroom....breakfast so so...no cheese, no ham...just cakes, sweets and other sweet stuff...better get out to via Mazzini and have brrakfast at some cafeteria, there is a lot of them, same with diner......nice and friendly service.
Really standart 3 stars, so dont expect anything more, it is how it is.

Rude reception staff. We asked for a savory breakfast, given the sadness and the poor quantity and quality of the "sweet breakfast", politely asking (ham and eggs) for the morning, having a negative response from the (rude) owner, saying that it would have been unthinkable to be able to have it.
Hotel renovated only in the corridors, the rooms are more or less 30 years old.
