I had come to Porretta for the soul music festival but found so much more. Stayed at this hotel where the room and the food were good but the highlight of my stay was the spa. Estela the massage professional gave me a perfect Swedish massage, using just the right pressure to relax my body and release my tired traveling muscles. The warm mineral pool was a surprise and a delight as was the dry and wet saunas. The receptionists were exceedingly helpful and added positively to my stay. Brava to this welcoming hotel!

Good service, excellent location, nice restorant. Hotel Helvetia is situated in the city center of Porretta Terma a lovely little city in the mountains, 50 km soth of Bologna. The hotel building is in very good condition, highly reccomended

The experience at Helvetia is very complete with high quality through out and high attention to detail. Nice staff, quiet rooms and surroundings and close to easy mountain hikes. In my opinion, far better than what it is priced at in all aspects.

Great rooms, wonderful service and generally very friendly, the SPA is very good and I had the best sports massage i have had in a while. The restaurant needs warming up, its too much like an airport lounge

The hotel and spa were amazing. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Especial thanks for a bathrobe size 5XL :))) And food... so tasty and so delicious... The hotel has a very nice view of Poretta Therme on own roof !!! Excellent!

We had a very nice stay. The rooms are good and the bed is comfortable. The Wi Fi worked good and the overall cleanness was very good. The Spa is perfect for couples and very relaxing, clean and beautiful The breakfast was great. A good variety of dishes which is not always the case in Europe. Plus some nice touches, such as a milk in small personal glass bottles...was tasty and clean. The dinner was ok, a bit expensive compare to the dishes but was indeed high quality.

Being a brief stay and not being able to try in full the Hotels facilities and the Spa, my impression was positive. The Hotel Staff are all extremely courteous and obliging, making you feel at ease and in almost a family enviroment. On the whole it was a very nice experience and I will most willingly return in the future.

Went to the hotel to spend a lovely family evening. The location is ideal and in the town centre, the spa facility is simple but very cosy, and the restaurant is so romantic. Really enjoyed the stay thanks.

Rooms could be slightly better, but for the rest this place super good. The service, first of all: the staff is extremely friendly and helpful...but also the ambiance, the food, the spa and the location. Our staying was incredibly pleasant and will surely come back again!
