In the middle of the Loire Valley is this castle turned hotel. It's on a golf course and has a 5 star restaurant. Mornings one enjoys a great breakfast and afternoons are at the pool. The rooms are large and the Wi-Fi works.

Stayed here for a golf break. On arrival very pleasantly suprised with the room we were allocated after reading some of the reviews. Lovely spacious room, well equipped bathroom, large comfortable bed. Tea and coffee available in the room. Yes, decor tired and could do with a new carpet but everything very clean. Food and service excellent. Evening meal was...

We stayed for 3 nights in August. We arrived at 10.30pm and were greeted by very friendly and professional staff. Shown to our 'Superior' room which was very dated, not what you would expect for the price we paid or how the rooms were described and professionally photographed!! We were given the option of another two rooms to choose from....

Came here with my wife to mark our first wedding anniversary. Managed to book a January deal amounting to 179€ with deluxe room and dinner and breakfast thrown in too. Had to pay for drinks on top. Anyway, moving on with the review. This castle is just truly magnificent. I loved the feeling of sleeping in something that had so...

We visited this chateau in August for one night. Our room was fine - a bit tired. Dinner was okay. We were served by two different staff - one whom we found rather patronising in telling us about the wine, the grape, the taste, etc. Perhaps because we are English she assumed we know nothing about wine. Breakfast was poor...

We came here because we wanted to revisit the spectacular Loire Valley area. It is very near to Chateaux Villandry ,Langeois,Ussee and Azay Rideau. We had quite a lot of trouble finding the hotel, even though we were using the Satnav, there are very few signs for it. The hotel is set in wooded acres, with a well designed golf...

The castle is simply beautiful. Our room was inside one of the towers and was very nice. The restaurant is nice and the food very good quality. The only downside was the breakfast: very poor and on the last day the staff in charge burned all the croissants and, for their own admission, was not able to use the coffee...

My journey to the Chateau didn't start well as they clearly mark the golf, but not the chateau name. So I went to turn around and, with all the rain we had for the past week, got stuck. In calling the hotel to seek help, they called a tow truck AND the reception clerk came to see if I was...

My husband and I stayed at this chateau in mid-July, 2013. We had a difficult time finding the chateau as we were not coming from any of the "major" cities that were listed on the website's access page. (As a side note for "mapquest" or "google maps" users: The chateau does not appear on their sites correctly and driving directions...

“As far as I know, there is no air conditioning except on the main floor at reception. No screens in any of the windows means bugs, bugs, bugs! Book a room when the weather is cooler and you do not have to rely on leaving the window open all night.”

“It would appear that Groupon bookers don't have much of a say in their choice of room. We travelled with Brittany Ferries and had a very good room. Might be worth a phone call beforehand to ask about the room standard as they seem to vary considerably according to the reviews. From what I could tell of the exterior, all rooms would have a view.”
