My daughter and I stayed at The George whilst on a coach holiday with Shearings. The only good things I can say about this hotel are its stunning location and one very kind waitress. I understand that some rooms had been updated - unfortunately, ours...More

Hi Claire D
We do not provide either of the above, people take their own towels with them. If you stay at the hotel we can provide additional towels.
Hope this helps.

Some 10 months later for answer, better late than never.. the answer is yes, you can bring a pooch though as we have a limited amount of dog friendly rooms so it on a first come first served basis, so to avoid disappointment please contact the hotel directly to book. However if the dog is in season, loves a howl or enjoys the occasional bar fight we ask for common sense and consideration of others kinda deal. Dugs (Glaswegian speak) are not permitted in food service areas for obvious reasons, health and safety and also the involuntary compulsion to surrender plate scraps to dog puppy eye hypnosis. Oh if we don't have rooms available and you still bring your dog please ensure windows are down abit, water is available and not parked outside someone's window as guard dog mode may create upset. In the off chance a question may take another 10 months for a response please call 01434-681-611 for a speeder reply :-)
