we stayed in this hotel for 1 night; we had room 15, a room with a four-poster bed. for the room with breakfast we paid 105 eur; according to us the price is too high. The room is rather small with a very small bathroom with only 1 small light and a small shower. As I mentioned we exected more...

We stayed as a couple and had chosen this hotel because it was advertised for a cycling tour. So the hotel arranged our bikes, which were great. The staff at the desk printed us a map and off we went, via Afferden, where we enjoyed eating some typical Limburgse vlaai,(Dutch cake) and onwards to Overloon where we visited the famous...

The hotel is nice, located in an old monastery. The renovation work was done very nicely. People at the reception are friendly and very helpfull The rooms are rather small, and there is still an old duff smell (like you can smell that it was a monastery). However the room is very clean and has nice modern bathroom. In my...

My friends and I were looking for a place and called Klooster at 9:30pm, the gentleman who answered said he would be happy to wait for us until midnight (we were driving from quite distance). Upon arriving, the front desk employee greeted us, gave us a quick tour and provided us with tea. We were very grateful for him staying...

We booked this hotel as it was conveniently located near to some places we had to visit and because it is in a former monastery. Another reason was the restaurant which is based in the same building as the hotel where we could have a late dinner on arrival. The hotel is really nice and set up in an old...

Quite a find in a pleasant town in the Netherlands, didn't book and just turned up .... really glad we did - superb use of the old convent with lovely grounds and a very tasteful conversion. Loads of character, but with all modern amenities. Very helpful and pleasant staff, who didn't mind us turning up complete with motorbike and wet...

I stayed at this wonderful place a few years ago. The rooms make you feel as if you travelled back in time. There are no tv sets, the rooms are clean and comfortable, but furnishing is really puritan. There is an excellent restaurant serving some really great South African wines - and of course tasty dishes. The owners and the...

Spent a couple of days there, it is a nice hotel. Service is great, the staff is very friendly. Hotel room was comfortable. It was within walking distance of my work. Town has a small centre, good enough for a short visit (not spectacular) When I come back to Boxmeer I'll definitely stay there

Stayed for business, as there is precious little else in the immediate area to stay at. I had been advised that my stay would be a 'unique' experience, and the advice was not incorrect. As a conversion hotel from an old convent, there is a substantial amount of charm and quirkiness to this hotel that you won't find elsewhere. However,...
