We were guided to an interior room dug in the hillside. There was no natural light, only a narrow horizontal window, near the ceiling of the room (you had a long pole to use the window), that opened to a vertical shaft, where external air-condition unit was located. In case of a fire in the corridor outside the room, we...

Stayed for one night in Sept to visit Etna. Would have loved to stay a second night to get the full benefit. Location is great in terms of views but you definitely need a car. Loved the huts and spotlessly clean but agree with previous reviews on the owner's hospitality being outstanding - I had lost my glasses and he...

We were fortunate enough to stay at Etna Hut recently on our visit to Sicily. It serves as a very useful springboard to exploring Mount Etna and the surrounding villages, and - crucially - avoids the horrific driving and parking issues in Catania. The site is part way up to the road to Etna so it's very easy to continue...

The hotel was good overall - comfortable rooms, good pool and a tennis court. What makes the real difference is Mimo and his wife who made sure throughout the entire week that we'll enjoy our stay to the max - Mimo sat with us every day to make sure our itinerary is the best, that we go to the right...

We stayed at Etna Hut 2 weeks ago for a couple of nights and couldn't fault the place. We chose to stay based on its proximity to Mount Etna as it is around 20 minutes drive if you don't keep stopping to take photos like we did! We stayed in one of the chalets at the back of the main...

A lovely quaint establishment run by the amazing Angela and her husband. Angela welcomes you into her 'family' as soon as you arrive and provides you with lots of useful information about the area. Also, offers great recommendation on local restaurants. Would definitely stay again. First class!

Spectacular view over Catania both from our room, balcony, breakfast room and hotel property - a really beautiful sight at night. The owner is very helpful with anything you need and know's anything worth knowing about this area. Made our stay absolutely unforgettable. Hopefully we will get to stay here at our next visit as this hotel is perfectly located...

Etna Hut is brilliant. The garden is beautiful with a pool and court looking down the mountain to the sea. The three chalets are cozy, modern, perfectly sized and well-equipped (tv, fridge, air con). The breakfast is croissants, toast, cereal, juice, coffee, etc... served in a stunning room with views of Etna. The owners (Alessia and Mimmo) are very friendly...

We decided to go to Etna Hut for 5 days following the great reviews on tripadvisor. Little did we know what to expect ! The past reviews all referred to Etna Hut and the 3 small huts just behind Etna Hut. We decided to go for what was thought to be a great option by renting out the Etna Villa...

Dear guest, we are very disappointed about the above lines you wrote. Something you wrote is right, something not. It is true that the Villa and its furnitures is not new, but everything works without problems and above all is a good cheap solution for holiday of people that don't want spend too much money like you. You were 8...
