I fly into Halifax and have appts in Dartmouth and Stellarton. Nice quiet location and super close to the airport with a beautiful view on the lake. Summer time they have beach chairs, so you can catch some sun at the end of a hard day. There is a Sobeys, Shoppers Drug Mart, subway and McDs down the road. A...

My husband organized this surprise getaway for my birthday. What a wonderful surprise. I enjoyed the whirlpool tub very much and the meal was excellent. The staff was very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make my birthday memorable from the time we arrived to the excellent breakfast in the morning. This was the second time we had...

We have driven by many times admiring the Inn On The Lake. Last weekend we had a trip planned on a day journey to Halifax. We traveled with our son and our 2 dogs. We planned on doing some March break shopping and returning home the same day. The opportunity of a last minute stay overnight found us looking for...

We stayed her for one night in February to be close to the airport for our return to Toronto. It's a 10 minute drive if that long. Perfect place to stay for this type of thing. We checked in around 4 in the afternoon. The young lady at the reception desk was very efficient, kind and knowledgeable. She explained all...

We celebrated my wife's 80th Birthday with a dinner for nine people of all ages and from different parts of Canada. It took place in the private dinning room just off the main dining room and I must say the ambiance and décor were very impressive. The food, even though we all ordered differently, was served promptly and courteously. All...

We were married at the Inn on the lake three years ago and decided to return last night to spend our third anniversary overnight. We arrived at 4 and were greeted by a friendly gentleman at the front desk who could not have been any nicer. He advised us that because they were not full they would give us a...

Breakfast, lunch, munchies after work or dinner - whatever the occasion, Inn on the Lake is the best kept secret in Halifax. The food is fabulous; service is great and the location is beautiful. Close to the airport; known better by travelers; loved by those of us who live near by.

Stayed here for work after a late flight into Halifax but probably should have just stayed at an airport hotel. There was no room service option and no elevator up to my room. Nice balconies but lots of highway noise. There is a lake and that's pretty but also there's a lot of traffic. Stayed for breakfast and it was...

Dear SamOntario. I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. I realise the inconvenience that arises from not having an elevator which is why we always have staff on hand to assist with luggage to your room. Should you stay with us again we would be happy to place you on the lake side of the hotel to...
