The hotel was announced as all inclusive but actually is more like "almost all exclusive": only water, coke and sprite is included...all the rest you have to pay. Even if you want a bottle of water in the room you have to pay for it. Actually even if you wanted an espresso you had to pay for it!! Unbelievable... The...

This is just a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful indian ocean, the room, beds & bathroom were quite clean, the food variety was fine and mostly tastes good, the staff and animation team were very welcoming and fun, the beach view is beautiful with the noticeable tides, sadly the water has a lot of sea weed and...

The rates are pocket friendly, location is ideal just by the beach and easily accessible to the sites of Watamu. The rooms are spacious and clean and the Kenyan staff are friendly. Check in process was slow, and full payment for stay was required on check in. All the signage at the hotel is in Italian, all the Kenyan staff...

Good Location, from here you can easly reach the most interesting places in Watamu and surrondings (e.g. Gede). Everything in the room was sticky and it was located near a club outside, so music until 3:00 am (and if you need to wake at early for the safari is kind of bad). Almost everyone can speak Italian and everything is...

The first thing to know is that this is Italian owned and run. All the guests are Italian, the food is Italian, the Kenyan staff speak Italian and all the information is in Italian. So if you are not Italian, you may feel out of place. Rooms were quite nice, with nice terraces, and A/C was good. Food was a...

We chose the Barracuda Inn because of its location overlooking the Blue Lagoon. We also wanted to be able to swim at any tide. The comfortable, air-conditioned room had a sea view. The food, unsurprisingly given this place is run by Italians, was amazing in its quality and choice. At one end of the buffet table there were groaning boards...

I was there in the Barracuda Inn Hotel with my family and my friends. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and pleasantly quiet, and the people there made a very nice atmosphere. we did with abdul (a beachboy) a three-day safari tour. They were very honest and reliable. It was a big and interesting adventure. The many different animals, lions,...

My husband and I came back recently from our beautiful trip to Kenya. We were at the Barracuda Inn for 12 days. The location of the hotel is wonderful, crystal clean warm ocean water, calm and beautiful bay, the sand is clean and powder like, you can actually walk all the Watamu coastline from this location, enjoying all the beauty...

As 2 independant travelling UK ladies, we chose the Barracuda Inn as our last stop off point during a recent tour of Kenya. What a haven this turned out to be! The bungalow rooms were fabulous, the comfy beds were massive with lovely clean linen. Everything in the bathroom worked a treat. House keeping was very vigilant and a safe...
