My sister and I arrived there late on that day. We were received warmly by simon at the reception, he was really nice. Showed us to our apartment, explained to us everything we needed to know. When we got to the apartment was so cozy and felt like home. The kitchen was well equipped, the fridge had milk too (amazing)....

My girlfriend and I returned to Medina, having visited two year ago. The hotel has become even better. From the moment you arrive you are so well looked after and the staff are friendly and inviting. Nothing is too much trouble. As keen cooks and foodies ourselves we could not wait to savour the fresh seafood in particular (best tuna...

The food was just average and upon commenting to mgt we were told perhaps our palate wasn't used to the "type" of food!! We lost 4,000 kshs in our room and mgt made us feel like it didn't happen and too bad for us! One of the waiters gave us a long lecture on pricing upon asking why we were...

I travelled to Medina for a weekend getaway with my mum in the month of November 2016. We were booked into a 1 bedroom suite on full board basis but on arrival were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded into a 2 bedroom suite. The suite (I am not sure they have any rooms) was beautiful and breathtaking! Everything was so...

Gardens are immaculate, restaurants in the hotel offer varied menus and quality fare. Good selection of water sports/activies on offer. Within walking distance of Local Ocean Trust - Watamu Turtle Watch .The absolute bonus is the sea breeze, where...

Every time my family and I have visited the coast, we have chosen different hotels. After a week at Medina Palms I think I have found my favourite. The architecture is beautiful, all details - from the outdoor stairs to the interior of the rooms and even the lamps - are cared for. The beach bar is cool and the...

Having visited Medina Palms back in 2014, I could not wait to return. We had the most wonderful ten days at the end of October spent relaxing at the hotel and exploring Watamu on trips that the hotel so kindly helped us to organise. Our villa was freshly decorated, and beautifully looked after by the friendly cleaning staff throughout the...

The rooms in Medina were superb. The staff are courteous and they made my stay there enjoyable. I was in the hotel for a week for a seminar and my stay was out of this world. The hotel staff also took us for kayaking and wind surfing for beginners.
