Very welcoming site for a group of young people doing their Duke of Edinburgh gold assessment - on horseback . Amenities provided for the horses . The girls had two pitches on the camp site . everything organised and very professional . Many thanks to Cote Ghyll .

My partner and I along with out 2YO daughter spent a night here with a fellow family. The site is a hidden gem through Osmotherly (village can be a little difficult to manoeuvre larger caravans through). On arrival you can easily see the large scale and grandeur of this picturesque site . Check in was quick and easy and we...

We booked our tourer here for 5 nights and absolutely loved it! The site is situated beside Cod Beck Reservoir with some lovely long walks and fabulous scenery. Shower blocks and toilets were spotless and staff were very friendly and welcoming. There's a laundry room on site and a small shop. We'll definitely be returning.

We have just returned from 5 days on a super touring pitch here. Beautiful site, immaculately clean in a stunning location. Even the kids commented on how nice toilet blocks were. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The kids (6,10,14,16) loved it, they were never bored and didn't ask for tv or wifi once. We walked for miles...

We stayed here for a couple of days, during the week (Wed to Fri). They have a small discount on a Mon, Tues and Wed stay that they automatically apply (rather than you having to ask). When I rang to book, the lady was very pleasant and confirmed that they were happy to take our converted Transit, which I understand...

From a warm & friendly welcome at Reception, with a Speedy check-in, we had a very nice weekend. The Park has different levels with quiet pitches for couples, with most others ideal for families with children. The Toilet/Shower Blocks were warm & clean. The Park is in a Valley of Woodland with a Stream Running Right through it. There's plenty...

We've spent many a happy time at this campsite. It's perfect for our dogs who love the walks. I'm very surprised at previous reviews saying staff were rude. We've always found them very friendly, especially Jan and her husband. They've helped us out a couple of times when in need and we always get a fantastic welcome. They've accommodated us...

Caravan was beautiful. However, the childrens play area was suitable only for 5-6 year olds.Yes, the chidren play in the stream. What do 10 to 14 year olds do? Paddle? I realise a lot of folk come here to walk, cycle, etc. Also, to just chill and relax. You really need to think of the older children. We had brought cycles,,...

“1st night we were in room eleven which was noisy until everyone goes to bed but 2nd night in room 10 above the kitchen. The quieter rooms will be on the same side as rooms 9 and 10 (North side).”

“Some pitches lie along the bank of a stream which runs through the site. Bear this in mind when booking if you're not too keen on the constant sound of running water..... Personally I find it quite relaxing!”
