Very disappointing ! The service was great, with smiley and interactive staff. Our main meal of chicken dinner was a real let down. The chicken was ok but lacking in flavour of any kind. Both the Yorkshire pud and the roast potatoes were very dry, hard and over cooked...and impossible to cut through them.I think they had been sat in...

Was meant to meeting people in a local cafe but it was closed so we went here instead. So glad we did. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. Very reasonably priced as well. I had a steak sandwich which was cooked the perfection; as were the chips. The other 4 members of the party were all very...

Lovely pub in a pretty village.Only wanted a snack and a pint and had success with both.A good pint of real ale and an excellent home made Scotch Egg served by a very jolly lady.I hope I get the chance to go back again.

After a long wet walk piled in here with 3 dogs and was made very welcome. We had a little nook so we were away from anyone else who was dining. I feel that if the place had been much busier we may have struggled to get in. It was a bit cold but we got them to put the...

Having had a wonderful meal a few weeks ago we decided to Book a short stay for my birthday. It was nice to be remembered and welcomed warmly. Our room was very clean (very good to see pillow and bed hygiene covers) and well furnished. The shower room very nice with a wonderful shower. (Very welcome after a day walking)....

Lovely food. Well presented and very tasty. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful setting and nice decor inside the restaurant. This was our 4th visit here over a number of years and it never disappoints. Just watch re parking as the village can be very busy on a weekend.

We went for a walk on Saturday and went for lunch first, this place looked welcoming from the outside and did not disappoint. We had a delicious meal accompanied by prosecco and beers and were well looked after. You can also have dogs in the downstairs area and then there's a nice restaurant area for those without.

This place has welcoming staff , in great setting. One of the best meals have had in at a pub in a long time. Would give it Five star's. Enjoyed so much going back for my birthday. Loved the great care put on each plate.
