This certainly is a no frills accommodation. Stayed four nights ...as a base. Needs to pay more attention to housekeeping - a black ring around the water line of the toilet making it look very dirty.....a splash of bleach would have solved it. The bath is quite high to step into, with an overhead shower....there were no rails so getting... More

Two of us were in Lens for the Euro 2016 and stayed here for a night. Prices were sky high as all hotels were during that time but normally I believe it's quite reasonable. We had a twin room at the back which was small but comfortable and mostly clean though there was a couple of hairs left by cleaner... More

We stayed there for several days while we explored WWI sites in France and Belgium. They had a great breakfast buffet. Had the dinner buttet once and it was okay. Very clean, well located motel with easy access to major road.

We stayed here last week needed quick access to the metro line . We were created by the lady at reception who gave us all the details about the metro, she had very good knowledge that was very helpful. We didn't eat. Our room was clean and tidy shower was great very powerful. We will definitely be back.

Basic hotel: A bit difficult to find, clean, hot shower, TV, ....needs to open door for fresh air. Bring your shampoos and soaps with you because there is only basic customer's comfort. Exercise your French because staff only speaks a few words of Enlgish. Staff has basic quality standard, not really helpful neither friendly. Breakfast basic but fresh and tasty... More

I stayed in a Campanile years ago in the South of France so I thought I knew what to expect but this place made my blood boil! The good stuff - it's cheap & clean. The staff really want to be helpful but they couldn't organise a proverbial in a brewery. So by all means book a room but DON'T... More

Spent 3 nights at the Campanile Hotel on the outskirts of Lens. It was clean and the staff courteous. Nobody had much command of English and my French was limited so it made for some interesting interchanges at times. Accommodation is decent, food pretty good but the location is a bit remote - taxis easy to get though Wifi was... More

Clean and comfortable. Good choice of food available in the restaurant. Nice buffet selection for breakfast. Traveling with a small well behaved dog which was allowed in the restaurant made the visit even more enjoyable. Kettle and tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Good heating and a/c in the room. Close to the motorway for easy access to our... More

My stay here was very brief. The room was adequate for a nights sleep, I wouldn't go back for the room, but you get what you pay for! The dinner and breakfast were both good! And I was happy with the buffet they had on that night. The staff are helpful and friendly!
