After been driving for 7 hours, reaching La La Nathi during a cool rainy afternoon. What a wonderful lodge. Our room was immaculate, warmly decorated in sleeper wood, white linen, underfloor heating, and my wife enjoyed the bath. Initially we did not want breakfast, but after we had supper, our minds were set on breakfast as well. The food was...

Friendly staff. The service is good love the luxury rooms with spa bath. Perfect overnight stop if you find the Durban to Johannesburg road tiring. Have stayed there many times and have had no complaints.

The lodge is set in beautiful surroundings with lots of trees and water features. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and well appointed. Price wise it is a bit expensive and I feel the tariff should include breakfast. However the meals we had were very tasty and wholesome.

When doing a self-drive trip to South Africa, we only wanted to drive about three hours as we headed to the Durban coastal area. We stopped at this great little find to rest up after a long grueling plane trip. Cute thatched cottages with a great restaurant and pub. Nothing comparable in the town of Harrismith so this is well-recommended.

What a wonderfully romantic place for a stop over on our way to our honeymoon destination. Roxanne was a wonderful help in organising the surprise as well as preparing the room along with the platter full of goodies. We had a wonderful stay and will hopefully be back soon.

Arrived at 11 pm having booked in the morning as we knew we would be too late to drive through to Jhburg. We had been booked in under an incorrect name hence no key for us. The guard at gate was exceptional and inconvenienced Roxanne who was also exceptional and after half an hour we eventually got into our room....

We decided to travel from Johannesburg to Durban early one evening & slept over here on the way. The general quality was good, including accommodations & dining. We especially enjoyed the home style cooking & helpful staff. The big downside is the traffic noise as the guesthouse is situated next too to the very busy N3 motorway.

Very friendly and pleasant staff, our unit was clean and had everything required, towels, tea and coffee facilities and underfloor heating. Definitely value for money. Dinner was good and breakfast was lovely with a selection of home baked goods.

We were driving to Bloemfontein and because we left Pietermaritzburg after 6.30pm we had decided in advance to stay over rather than drive the whole way. We booked via the web (not direct with them) and it was quite annoying that my request "do you serve dinner" was never answered so we took a chance that the rooms would have...
