Wild Horses was a treat! We were celebrating our anniversary and tried the lodge for the first time. Right on the Sterkfontein Dam, it is intimate and remote. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and had amazing views. The beers were as refreshing as a dive in the dam. The standout thing though was the food. I don't know...

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. All the staff make you feel at home. They really are excellent hosts. The place is beautiful, the views amazing and our room was most comfortable. The food was excellent too. We wanted to spoil our 15th year anniversary and Wildhorses did just that!

We had a great weekend here...the view of the dam is spectacular, surrounded by rolling grassland and wild horses. The service is excellent, personal and sincere - epitomised by Blessing who is a delight and always has something interesting to chat about. We were there for our anniversary and they went to great effort to make it special for us....

We had our daughter's wedding here at the beginning of June 2015 and had an absolutely fabulous time. It was a small wedding with only 13 present but it was so meaningful. Nothing was a problem for Trish, Jonny or Leah. The staff were extremely helpful and great fun. Food was excellent and top London restaurant quality. It's a magical...

We booked a 3 night stay at Wild Horses to start off our honeymoon. It was exactly as expected if not better, and we had an amazing stay. Blessing and Lizzy attended to our every need, and Peter the Chef cooked delicious food, which left us feeling spoilt. Even Elsie from housekeeping made us feel like royalty. We would not...

We decided to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday at Wild Horses. Suffice to say our high expectations were met and surpassed. The venue is magnificent, the food was glorious, the staff were amazing and the view is stunning! So much effort went into every little detail. We felt utterly spoilt and will definitely be back for another five star experience.

This is a very intermit little lodge on the side of a mountain overlooking the Sterkfontein dam. There are only 4 rooms and so you often find yourself feeling like you are the only ones in this stunning villa. The chef prepares great dinners and breakfast is always more than enough. You can also opt to have a private romantic...
