We spent two nights at Wits End chalets while in the Drakensberg to attend a wedding. I'm just sorry that we couldn't stay longer and really hope that we get back there before too long. The setting is magnificent and so tranquil. Only sounds you hear is bird song. My husband and son went for an early morning hike in...

Thank you for your review of our resort and we are glad you enjoyed our forest walk. For your interest we are in the process of fencing our property in conjunction with 2 adjoining properties providing 120 hectares natural mountain landscape to enjoy, and intend introducing additional game to complement the game that already occurs.

We were helped by a wonderful Lady Lynette she is so accommodating, the place is clean and very friendly and a lot to do. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The rooms are neat and well serviced and the only thing missing is a shop

Best retreat to the drakensberg yet! Thanks to our amazing hostess for ensuring an exceptional break with the kids. Conveniently situated this delightful self catering Accommodation is a home away from home. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the play area, table tennis and rock pool, while we relaxed and took in the crisp mountain air and great views.

Stayed 2 nights as a "calmer" for us & grandchildren on an intensive tour. Very easy t find, quiet and peaceful. Fantastic views of Cathkill Peak etc. Some shopping near at Cedarwood (try the chocolate place!) also has laundrette, very necessary. Chalet well equipped and staff helpful eg new kettle in 3 minutes, lent us a DVD player. Great rock...

We were a party of four adults who shared a two bedroomed, two bathroomed chalet overlooking both the lake and the mountains. What makes this resort different is that it is small and the chalets are well-spaced apart from each other. The chalets are adequately equipped, very clean, and affordable. We are already planning to go back. The location of...

We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa (no. 10) at Wits End which was at the back of the resort, furthest from the main road. This was perfect, as we had full views of the berg and it was very peaceful. There was not much traffic during our stay but some noise can be heard from the areas closer to the...

We have spent 2 very brief stays at WitsEnd ( one night each visit). We have found it very peaceful, and in a beautiful setting. The units are basic but adequate and clean. The bedding could do with being replaced, but it is adequate. There is a beautiful rockpool to swim in, with a nice braai area. Would love the...

If you plan to visit the Drakensberg Mountains, this should be your accommodation. We were there for 5 days in total with a group of 27 people. The location is spectacular and the accommodation is great. Lots of great facilities like the lapa, the pool, the lake, the braai areas, simple outstanding!
