Very popular and friendly holiday complex set in picturesque gardens. The one- and two-bedroom apartments all have kitchens and a balcony or terrace overlooking the delightful swimming pool and children's pool, surrounded by sun terraces. The poolbar & restaurant provide a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, great entertainment and good food. Las Adelfas is also only a short (10 minute) taxi ride to and from the International Airport.

We booked a week at Las Adelfas several weeks ago mainly on the back of the amazing recent reviews on both Tripadvisor and Booking.com. I thought we what we paid (and of course the photos) that the place would be an amazing base for our family of 5. On early arrival, we were allocated room 230 by the very We were so looking forward to staying at Las Adelfas. The photos, the reviews, the proximity to the beach and shops etc. Wow could anywhere be so fabulous!? Hmmmm. After being dropped off on the back street just by reception, we were greeted by a very pleasant and welcoming Alison. We were able to check in early which was great as we had arrived to rain. I wasn’t quite sure what we were expecting but the whole complex area was much smaller than it appears on the photos! Our ground floor apartment although close to the pool area was dark inside with very small windows in the back bedroom. Even during the day it felt like a prison cell! I guess it didn’t help that we arrived during a downpour so the whole apartment was cold too and I was surprised not to have thicker bedding. This was remedied fairly swiftly by reception with extra blankets supplied. Our biggest initial concern was the lack of seating. We had a large sofa but it was old, worn and the seating part slanted downwards so it was difficult to sit on it. As a family of 5, my children spent the duration of our week in the bedrooms because other than hard wooden table seats there wasn’t enough room! No idea what 6 (potential) adults would do for seating!? As it happens the following morning (early) we were shocked to find a burst pipe in one of the bathroom ceilings and it had absolutely flooded the bathroom, bedroom and was moving swiftly into the lounge area! We tried calling both out of hours and the emergency number while trying everything we could to stop further flooding. Neither number was answered and when Alison arrived at the start of her shift at 9am, the cleaning staff had thankfully cleared the water, cleaned up the mess (smashed glass fittings as water was pouring through lights). Within a couple of hours we were moved to 234. Great. We were happier with the configuration of the main room (and the sofa was slightly less worn although the maintenance bloke had to come and fix the base of it after the previous guests checked out!) however we were still disappointed with how dark the back bedroom and bathroom was. Just no natural light at all during the day because the apartments were below ground level with a very small window. Sadly there was nothing we could do about this. We also had the displeasure of the apartment above scraping chairs up to 12am at night despite it being clearly stated on the info sheet to refrain from moving furniture past 10pm. We could also hear every movement, cough, sneeze etc. We also found that this room took beds very early on around the pool to grab the best beds and then for extended periods were on their balcony. Now this might sound trivial but when there are only 12 beds on the sun side and it is once again on your info sheet about it being strictly forbidden, it is frustrating that people take advantage of it. We also found an issue with crickets in the front twin bedroom. Despite pulling all beds out, using pest control etc we still had an issue. We did not raise it with reception as we were there for a week and we won’t be returning to the complex but the issue is apartment 234 and we believe it could be at the back of the head board? The main reason we booked this complex was for the oven and the pool area. It was great to have an oven but with the distinct lack of kitchen pans, dishes and utensils it was virtually impossible to take advantage of it! For that reason we ate out most evenings. You really need to rethink what you are offering. Teasing with a ‘fully fitted kitchen’ but not a decent oven pot to use! So the pool area. The family who run it seem very nice. Their children running riot at the weekends not so much. On Sunday we didn’t even sit around the pool but we got a very thorough run down of the chaos by other guests staying at Las Adelfas. I understand one of the other residents actually raised it with them - screaming, shooting water pistols (no problem as long as it is not hitting paying guests!) and throwing sun beds around!? Thank the lord we went to the beach. The aftermath we faced on our return. Litter strewn everywhere, beds all over. Clearly unacceptable. We will never return. Average at best, very basic and overpriced.

Las Adelfas is a lovely complex, Alison at reception is wonderful and always very accommodating and Jo & her family provide delicious snacks throughout the day at the snack bar. Highly recommend for couples and families, great location as well. 2 minute walk to the beach and some great restaurants close by including Pavarotti's.

So happy as friendly welcome and reception can't do enough for you. Apartments really clean and you have every utensil you need to cook including an oven ( most don't have here) . Pool area clean and comfortable and whilst restaurant closed at present the snack bar is open during day. The snack bar staff are fantastic, and snack bar food is tasty and drinks inexpensive. Love it, so thanks Las Adelfas, wish I'd come last time but do to covid was unable to.

myself and my family visited Club Las Adelfas in Oct, the apartments were spotless we stayed in a 2 bed apartment that had 2 bathrooms and a sofabed in the living area, my kids loved staying here especially ordering breakfast every morning from the pool bar, it was so safe for kids there, the pool area was cleaned every morning, i would highly recommend so much so we have already booked our next visit. it is a 10 minute walk either direction to Matagorda or Puerto Del Carmen, and a 2 minute walk to the beach, there is also some lovely restaurants a few minutes walk from the resort. The cleaning staff along with the pool bar staff were so friendly helpful and welcoming during our stay

Probably one of the least pleasant places we’ve stayed in PDC. Just found beds, sofa just worn and so uncomfortable. Hygiene in the apartment wasn’t great, our shower was filthy. Pool area also could do with sun beds maybe being cleaned regularly, weren’t cleaned once in the ten days we stayed. Considering the current COVID concerns and people sharing these facilities, I would hope cleaning or sanitising around pool area and beds would be paramount. It’s not unusual to see this being done in other properties even prior to COVID.
