Second time I've stayed in the lanzarote village hotel and I wasn't disappointed. Had a fantastic time hotel was just perfect for what we needed . Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean with a fridge and safe and a large balcony and sea view . Having read some previous reviews saying the food and restaurant wasn't very good its not what I experienced. I can't praise the restaurant staff highly enough for the qiluality and choices every night . The food was tremendous every night no complaints whatsoever so much choice. We were on half board breakfast and evening meal both were fantastic . Definitely we will be back thank you for a great holiday Stuart and Louise 👍
Quick check-in off to the room spotless and very modern nice shower road side view does matter to us only sleep in are room.pool nice and clean with plenty of Sun beds even tho some guest insiest on put towels on them for part of the day.snack bar was nice with hotdogs, hambergers ,chip, toasties.drinks you can have some premium drinks if you ask plastic cups round pool glasses at night.evening entertainment not very good day time nothing.good 3 star standard not 4start bacon vile streaky grease over all that hotel defo go back enjoyed are time thank you Lanzarote village👍😎
We stayed in the Lanzarote village for 8 night 7th-15 January. The hotel is in a great spot for getting around Puerto del carmen. You have shops bars all around no matter which way you go on leaving the hotel. The hotel is absolutely spotless, the grounds and garden areas are immaculate and beautifully kept. We were I room 1339 it was in our opinion the best room in the hotel. The views were amazing, waking up and sitting out on the sunny balcony facing out to sea is wot a holiday is all about. We had the sun on the balcony from morning until it went down....just perfect. We stayed halfboard but if we wanted to upgrade to all inclusive it was €22 a day each. The starter and main meal was lovely, lots of variety. There is a cooking station with a chef cooking eggs..to your liking in the morning. In the evening it's was meat or fish all freshly cooked. The food is served at a buffet there is also a microwave if you like your food piping hot, although we never needed to use it. The only thing I would say on the food side is the labelling for the food was not good, that really needs to be looked at. The deserts were okay, can't say much more about that. The pool area again is spotless, always managed to get a sunbed at anytime during the day. There is entertainment every night for a couple of hours singers, dancing and bingo one night. All very good to relax to after a day in the sun. All the staff were very polite and helpful we could see how busy they all were but that did not affect there professionalism. Huge thanks to all the staff for their hard work. We will be returning next January, we will not look at staying anywhere else as the Lanzarote Village has it all...Many Thanks from the Campbell's xx…
From start to finish the staff from reception,to cleaners, waiters, bar staff, they were all so helpful, pleasant, nothing was a bother. Our room was very spacious, pool warm could swim in it.... Food was excellent great variety meats, fish, salads, lovely breads cheese etc....
well...campers, lets start with the positives. It was my first visit to this hotel and i have to say i was quite impressed by the room i was allocated as a single traveller. You get two single beds , a bed sofa and satellite large tv ( channel 74 upwards for the british traveller) The staff were all very friendly from the cleaners to the waiting staff and could not do enough for their guests. The swimming pool was heated and very nice (i have been to some hotels in the canaries were the pool was not heated . And now for the negatives.......if you like a good choice of beers (lagers) forget it, the only beer availble is the local beer Tropical Dog...which is not bad...but a few of these and you feel bloated Even as an all inclusive guest i would of been prepared to pay for alternatives willingly....which i did every night in the centre of the resort where the corona and bud is so cheap. And now for the biggest negative...PORK in some form or another on the menu every night and on one night i counted PORK in 3 different forms on the menu. This P****D me of so much i took it up with the management the next morning....who assured me that there was chicken on the menu aswell ....really i asked..."yes chicken meatballs" was the reply. Now lets get to breakfast all very good with the exception of normal sausages...when i say normal, i mean about 3-4 inches long....not these little inch long bloated hot dog things....and as for the bacon...it is not that english greasy spoon cafe type. So my advice would be if you intend to book this hotel and are the type who spend the whole of their holiday lying on a sun lounger, never leaving the complex and drinking and eating (because by god I'm going to get my moneys worth) the all inclusive crap.....this hotel will suit you fine. If on the other hand you eat and drink outside the complex on occasions...do not book all inclusive. So now for the big question...would i go back? Yes for the hotel itself and the staff.....and being able to hand feed the wild parakeets on my balcony......but No for the food and drink. adious amigos…
What a wonderful stay we had here. Lovely welcome upon arrival from Mari Carmen, we arrived early and wasn’t expecting to check in until 2pm but she made sure that we got our room earlier. Kind, friendly and very efficient, always a smile on her face. All the staff are great and work really hard to make sure you have a good stay. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable, we had a sea view room on the top floor with a nice balcony. Good large bathroom and shower too. They serve an ample breakfast with something for everyone, hot and cold food available and such a large variety. Nice little snack bar by the pool which also serves drinks. Comfortable sun loungers available for everyone. Highly recommended this hotel, definitely worth a visit.
Just had a week here and it was very nice.. Food was good, there was loads of choice with the salad bar, bread bar, desserts as well..The hot food was OK but the labels were hard to read..I would doubt that there is not one person who couldn't find something to eat.. Our room was lovely, had a big balcony with a sea view and mountain view..Fridge and kettle inside..maid made the bed and a quick clean every day..We did have a few mini ants but not enough to create a fuss.. Plenty of sunloungers though we did get a couple of lilos and lay on them on balcony.. 2 minutes walk to the shops, bars, restaurants, turn left AND rights there's loads... Staff are friendly..we used the sauna and pool...All in all a lovely hotel, very clean and modern..
Lets be short ant take only bassic...: Will review as for 4 stars HOTEL... Good parking, Calm place, Polite staff. Warm adult pool. Intresting but not cozy architecture. BUT they shurelly should improve on: FOOD: Most frustrating is naming food. Food cards barrely vissible, can't find out about allergens on food cards.. Alot of food not even named.. Cant understand what meat you eat: Stands "Steak" but meet is pork, not beef.. Personnaly i'll like to see more diferent desserts and atleast once in week beef steak(not pork steak):) POOL: Kids pool is colder than adult pool. I was asking in reception (tree times - TREE DAYS) to turn on heating for Kids pool (they sayed that is very strange thats is not heating and they will fix it), but in two weeks no progres EXCEPT LAST DAY! last day was babypool very polite warm...Was very disapointed that in two weeks my toddler and kids had to play in adult pool, cause kidspool was not warming at all.. ENTERTAINMENT: From Amateur show... to trash show. But if you use alcohol, show will be pretty acceptable.. ROOM: Clean but has mini ants. So.. dont bring any food in rooms. It can be that in these lands not possible to get rid of them. So, by mentioninig that i dont mean negative responce. Resume: We had rooms with view to pool and sea - was good and cozy. My wife loved vegetarian food and fruits. Kids loved warm pool. Toddler could not play in baby pool because of low temperature. Me and kids was disapointed in food cause we have food alergies and could read food cards. Also maybe its common but i never knew that for dinner you get nothing to drink - MUST BUY as extra...- personaly sounds stupid for me ... …
Had a great 12 night stay over New year. Positives Lovely room Spotless everywhere Great location Friendly staff Wild parrots Food good mainly Negatives Entertainment needs improving Our room had a view of a few cacti and volcanic rock. Not the best. Was offered a move when we mentioned this Beds hard and pillows like slabs! Lovely weather and getaway all in all would recommend
We stayed here for 11 nights arriving Christmas Day. We had a lovely time thanks to the wonderful staff. We had two gala dinners which were lovely. The food over all good lots of choice. The snack bar was a winner for my son who never got up for breakfast they make fresh hamburgers, hot dogs and toasted sandwiches. What makes this hotel stand out for us and our twelve trip as a family over Christmas and new year is how friendly and lovely the staff are. The rooms are cleaned daily and they are always smiling and happy to come back if you’re not ready. The waiters and bar staff are brilliant. Basically from the receptionist’s to the maintenance team could not fault them. Location great for walks both ways nice and flat with beautiful sea views.
