The room was very spacious and bed really comfortable. Facilities in the room were excellent as was the shower. Service was a bit slow with the evening meal but the food when it arrived was really good as was the breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our 2 days of golf.

My wife and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending a wedding at nearby Combermere Abbey. The room and pool facilities were excellent, staff were friendly and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay again. The only "criticisms" I have (no problem for me) was: 1) The lack of an open bar at 11.30pm (and I thought...

The hotel is very outdated, beds are overused and uncomfortable, no AC, water pressure is low, carpets are worn out. You can see it was great once but it is time for some renovations or a major drop in price

Visited here recently for a night away for my birthday with my partner. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean. We used the swimming pool and leisure facilities which were also good. Booked to have dinner in the restaurant and had the set menu which was £25 each for a 3 course meal, food was nice but the restaurant itself...

What an absolute shambles this place is & the people who run it.. I telephoned to ask about rates for my dogs & was told it would be £15 per dog for the duration of our stay which was 2 days. On arrival I was told it was an extra £15 per dog per night so it was £60!! The...

The girls on the reception desk, we tried to use complimentary friends and family vouchers my mother had been given as compensation for a mix up with her direct debit where she had accidentally been charged twice for her monthly spa and gym membership. When we tried to use them we were told by the staff they had never seen...

Accessible accommodation around Whitchurch is limited and after some excellent communication with this hotel regarding wheelchair access we decided to stay here and were looking forward to it. Our room (#101) was spacious with plenty of room for us, luggage and wheelchairs and the view was lovely over the golf course (which my golfing husband appreciated). The bathrooms was large...

I don't mind paying a bit of money for a nice hotel would good services. I think due to the location and the fact that they have a lot of weddings in the area they may have a bit of a monopoly in the area and so charge a lot more than they should be. Firstly the room and bathroom...

I have been here a few times with friends as it is one of out closest spas, and I would definitely go here again! They have some great spa day options at very reasonable prices (not always as they change them periodically), and the facilities are enjoyable! The only things I would say is that although the treatments are brilliant,...
