We stayed here in April 2014, quite a pleasant stay with absolutely no complaints but I'm not really writing this entry to review the accommodation but to note the fact that tripadvisor has not caught up with the closure of Le Bretagne in August 2015. The previous reviewer must have been almost the last guest.

We stayed a couple of nights in this cute but not cheap hotel- as a base for exploring southern Brittany. The room was nice- it was clean and cool on hot days. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would recommend staying elsewhere because the breakfast was too expensive and nothing special. The internet connection is horrible. The location is...

We have visited this hotel quite a few times and each time we have been delighted with the reception we have received. The garden is a little oasis, pretty and quiet. The rooms are cool and airy with very comfortable beds. The spotlessly clean bathrooms have good quality toiletries, everything is provided for an enjoyable stay. Last, but not least,...

This year we decided for the first time that we would make our first overnight stop after leaving the ferry in Roscoff east of Vannes. We were not disappointed in our choice. The first delight was finding a car park in the hotel garden which was very secure.Walking into the hotel through the rear entrance we were met by the...

I spent a week at this lovely hotel with my husband and 2 further couples were also in our small group exploring southern Britanny together in our MG's. We had been recommended to stay here and we were very glad we heard about it because it was an absolute delight. We could not have been looked after any better -...

We have just finished a most memorable 7 day stay at Le Bretagne Questembert. The whole experience was excellent. The attention to detail from the fabulous food, the decor, staff and even the flower arrangements is second to none. We cannot understand the negative comments of "Petrolhead" as we were staying at the same time. Perhaps he was "misfiring" that...

This was the (only) low point of our week in Brittany. After reading many good reviews on tripadvisor we booked a night here and had high hopes. Things started off badly with the amuse bouchée and deteriorated - the food was hardly edible (including the bread). We subsequently learned that this restaurant had lost it's star and i can only...

We only work with fresh foods (invoices of our suppliers in support of). Our bread is also home-made. Our Chef, always the same one, makes every effort to offer products of very good quality. We are very surprised at your express discontent because you totally ate 3 courses and only after made a fuss about the meal! We offered the...

We have had the pleasure of staying at Le Bretagne five times now and each time it has been perfect. We are welcomed back with genuine warmth and friendliness. The excellent standard achieved by all the staff is maintained year after year. Other reviewers have praised the meals, the bedrooms, the bathrooms and the cleanliness and we totally agree. This...

“This is essentially a high-quality restaurant with rooms. Rooms at the back are quieter and have balconies or terrace.”

“We had a ground floor room with it's own little patio, wonderful.”

“Rooms at the back of the hotel have a small terrace or balcony overlooking the garden. We always stay in Hortensia, which is perfect, so cannot comment on other rooms but the overall standard is superb.”

“There is no lift so if mobility is an issue opt for ground or first floor. Balcony suites well worth the extra cost.”
