Room was nice and re-done, but the stay was Terrible. At about 10pm the lounge starts playing music - dance club style with base, and it is attached to the rooms. Impossible to sleep, staff don't answer the phone, finally got someone, got a ya ya we'll turn it down...no change. Terrible stay for work, no sleep, not recommended.

We had 2 double beds that were very comfortable. Relatively quiet for a motel oon the highway. It was not a newly refurbished room, but looked good to us. Too bad restaurant does not open til 8 am especially because most people are on the road early.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Drifters and again it didn't disappoint. The only drawback to this motel is that you can hear people in the next room talking or can hear the TV. Rooms are quaint, cozy and newly renovated in log style fashion. They provide flat screen TV, wifi, parking, coffee maker and mini fridge....

While travelling across Canada on a very long Autumn road trip we stopped in Terrace bay for fuel, food and most importantly water for our small RV. We asked if we could have some water from an outside tap and even though their property was already winterized the staff and owners took the time and effort to re-turn on the...

We stayed in a "reno'd" room. The log furniture was really nice, and the beds and pillows were extremely clean and comfortable. We stayed in a room on the 2nd floor and found the little outdoor sitting area up there really nice. The room (that had two double beds) was quite small, with not much room to walk between or...

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. It is undergoing renovations on the outside, so it looks a little rough - but I'm sure the siding will be on soon. LOL. Had a great dinner at the attached restaurant for a good price. I'll stay here again.

It's located right on the highway and in "downtown" Terrace Bay. There is an LCBO around the corner but everything seems to close up early. The ground-floor room was apparently recently renovated in what may be described as a "Northern Ontario Rustic Pine" style (i.e. comfy but nothing fancy). There was moisture seeping up between the floor tiles so my...

The room I stayed in at Drifter's Imperial Motel had recently been renovated in a log cabin theme, which was really nice and made the room smell good. The room was also immaculately clean. There is a restaurant and bar on site, neither of which I went to. Normally, a place like this would warrant 4/5, but I had to...

Simply put...Stay away! A dark, dingy and not terribly clean room that lacked sufficient lighting. Couple this with front desk staff whose lack of charm rivalled the room's lack of amenities and you might just want to try another place.

I stayed at the Imperial Motel for a business trip. The receptionist was extremely friendly and my reservation was in order. The room was recently renovated and decorated in a log cabin-style. Features included digital cable, a fridge, microwave, and very speedy wifi. I had a great, comfortable sleep. The adjoining restaurant, Drifters, is a great place to eat, too....
