Beautiful hotel with great restaurants and great views and lovely rooms. Downsides The pools leave so much to be desired. They are freezing even the heated one above the children's pool. The technician said they are heated to between 27 and 29. Still freezing cold. It's the only 5 star hotel we have ever visited where you don't see anyone swimming or relaxing. Gorgeous to look at but dipping in and out of the pool is a must have and you can't do this here. Casa Ducales - rooms lovely but the club house is one room which accommodates reception, check in and drinks and food. And an outside terrace with no view. So not great to chill in whilst being watched by people waiting for their rooms. Breakfast in the main restaurant - it's huge, pretty and has a lovely atmosphere and great terrace too with an amazing array of food. Food at the hotel is five star in every restaurant.

This hotel is so beautiful. Firstly, a big thank and high praise for all the staff who are so efficient and friendly throughout what must be a truly difficult time to work with regard to issues surrounding the global pandemic!!! Thank you! I feel 10 years younger after the holiday. The restaurants are a treat! The location next to the beach allows for a very enjoyable sea swim( if timed around low tide). The New Year’s Eve Gala was great as were last nights fireworks. The best part of our sea view room was the balcony, which harboured a beautiful view! The room was spacious..maybe on first glance dated but actually was very comfortable so we were happy enough. Other family members had suites which were extremely spacious….but the sea view rooms topped all!! This is my second time to this hotel and we will definitely return in the future! Sadly we are leaving today but we feel very lucky to have had such a wonderful holiday. Thank you Bahia!

Just about to Leave after 2 weeks here. We were supposed to be here with our grandkids, but they couldn’t come ss only single jabbed. The hotel is lovely . Staff are delightful and service was superb. A special mention for Jesus, who worked so hard to make sure we had everything we needed. Also reception and the pool guys - all helpful Polite and efficient . We ate in all the restaurants except the Japanese, and the standard of food preparation was as good as any top restaurant we’ve eating in in London. Beautifully presented food .delicious The rooms are large and airy - we had a sea view. Bathroom large with great shower- a bit dated though- Maid service excellent snd rooms cleaned whilst we were at breakfast most mornings- Negatives ; Only top Pool is heated - a shame as other 3 remained empty- Hotel built in side of cliff so On several levels . Many. Many stairs - although there is a lift and a buggy service . I’m a fit 75- but found it hard going up And down to promenade outside hotel - so If you’re not mobile this hotel not for you ! A great position by the sea with many cafes and restaurants nearby . All in all a fantastic memorable holiday .

We booked a last minute stay to Las Villas at Bahia after a trip to Mauritius was cancelled. I didn’t expect to be so impressed by the villas as I was. Firstly the Palmeras villa was perfect for travelling with a child, with a spare bed at one side of the lounge which during the day didn’t interfere with the lounge space at all. Secondly the villas come with their own large communal pool (in addition to private deck and plunge pool) which was fairly empty even in the Xmas holidays and had a fantastic shallow end for kids too. The villas also come with the villa lounge where we could have breakfast, lunch and a complimentary afternoon tea away from the lovely but bigger and busier main hotel. The service at the villas section was fantastic. Lovely, friendly, kind staff who went out their way to make sure everyone was happy. The staff in the main hotel were good and not possible to complain about whatsoever but the villas team were on another level. I’d recommend the hotel but would strongly recommend the villas especially for a really wonderful experience. The staff really made it work.

Just returned from a much needed week, this hotel had been recommended to us and overall we had a great stay. The grounds were stunning and staff were all attentive. We ate in Kensei which was amazing as well as Alisios which was fantastic. The breakfast choice was good. We stayed in the main hotel on the 6th floor (garden view) not much of a garden view and the room was very dated. There was a cleaning issue which was rectified immediately and we were offered the option to move.
