I was disappointed to find that the hotel was not 300m from the beach, as advertised, but up a long hill and then many steps up to the hotel and more steps up to the reception and even more steps up to the rooms. Definitely not suitable for anyone over 70!

Good effort but nothing really special. Difficult access. Basic amenities. Sufficiently clean but not immaculate. The cleaning staff is not very discreet (they once opened the door without knocking first). Good location. Not in the centre of Skala (away from the noise) but not far from it. Not quite value for money.

On arrival into Scala take the first to the left out of the harbour and it is a ten minute uphill walk to Abatis Hotel, there is a sign at the foot of the hotel grounds, from there it is a climb up to the reception. We had a very warm welcome and shown to our sea view room. The...

We spent 6 nights at the Abatis, and could have spent far longer there. It was a beautiful hotel on a beautiful island. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, rooms were always clean. It was simple but provided everything we needed for a lovely holiday. While we went in September, meaning the island was very quiet, there were lots of...

We just returned from our 4 day trip from Aggistri. We stayed at the Abatis rooms. (It's not a hotel) First of all our host was not even willing to shows us to our room. We were to find the room by ourselves. Space wise, it was fine. The experience would have been much more pleasant had the staff been...

Dear James, we are very sorry you were not pleased from your stay in our rooms but on the other hand your requests were difficult to meet. Since you informed me about the loss of digital signal on your TV I made every possible effort to solve the problem which was solved the next day. The room was fully equiped...

We spent six nights at the Abatis. Konstantina was all ways very friendly and accommodating. The sun terraces are beautiful, particularly at the end if the day. Generally the hotel was really spacious with plenty of areas to sit both inside and out. The room was also very spacious with small kitchen area. They do have a bar at the...

When i wanted to escape from the city, i looked for a close quiet destination with a sea view, so i can stay at the balcony and gaze. From this point of view, Hotel Abatis was exactly what i needed. The room was decorated romantically and was clean enough and although the view was disturbed by another house, it was...
