The hotel is set in 9 acres of grounds with breathtaking views. It is the perfect location to relax, unwind and enjoy your stay. We have a relaxed dining area serving food throughout the day. Accommodation comprises of 11 en suite rooms, all of which are individually designed and decorated to be in keeping with the house. The Coachman's cottage is attached to the hotel with its own entrance and is a dog friendly room with access straight into the grounds. All our rooms are individual, two have outside access with patio areas. We can accommodate families in our adjoining room or with additional beds in larger rooms.

Only stayed one night but it was a delightful experience. We stayed in the coachman’s cottage. Very comfortable with all possible conveniences including fridge and microwave. Double bed was very comfortable. Lounge and bedroom clean and tidy with homely touches that made the experience a real pleasure. Breakfast was included in the price. Delicious high quality full English couldn’t really be improved upon. Remarkable value for money, in lovely quiet garden surroundings. I only write reviews when I am moved to.

So glad we chose this place to celebrate my partner's birthday. Peter was very very helpful in organising the event. The Rooms were very clean and had a lot of character, lovely old hotel, Food was very tasty and we ate the lot, the Lady that helped serve the food was just so nice (sorry but I missed her name) can not fault the place....we'd highly recommend it. All in all it was a great sucess and a Big Thankyou to all at Plas Hafod Hotel for making it a special occasion.

Had our wedding here in January and we could not have asked for anything more! Peter, Harrison and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. Nothing was too much hassle, and even with the short time scale (planned in less than 2 months) they catered to our every need and created a package that was everything we wanted and more. Even last minute changes weren’t too much trouble, and everything was done in such a professional yet personal way. The venue speaks for its self, absolutely beautiful with picturesque gardens, making it ideal for photos! Inside was decorated beautifully, with class and elegance. Food went down a storm, and all our guests said how amazing food was! Plenty of food, and absolutely delicious- they catered to all needs, from fussy children to vegetarians. Absolutely no complaints and we highly recommend the Plas hafod to anybody looking to visit, hold an event or dine here! We cannot thank the team enough for everything! Beth & Scott x…

This Hotel truly is a gorgeous, family run Hotel in a beautiful country setting! Although it has been three years since we last stayed here , it was just as beautiful, with excellent staff as always. Special thanks to Simon, Collette and Harrison for making our stay as relaxing as always. We highly recommend this Hotel with its amazingly gorgeous and individual styled bedroom décor throughout. The food is excellent as is the table service. Staying at this beautiful place so near to Christmas was an added bonus for us as the Christmas decorations were quite breath-taking! Full marks, 5+ stars and a guarantee that we will return! Thank you!

Well where do I start.... my partner and I got married here on the 8th December 2022. What an amazing day I really can not recommend this place enough. All the staff have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish, this made our special day go as smooth as silk. The staff and owners could not have done anymore for us, this really helped take a lot of stress off us. Please please check out the Plas Hafod hotel if you are looking for a venue for your special day. Well there is one final thing i would like to say and that is , thank you again from the bottom of our hearts to all at Plas Hafod we really couldn't have done any of thos without your help. Due to having difficulty of finding when various members of our family would be free to come to a belated 60th wedding anniversary celebration we had to make a late booking for a meal. We chose Plas Hafod as they had accommodated a similar get together 4 years ago and all agreed then it was excellent. It was fortunate that their private dining room was available this time. Before it had been booked for a small wedding party. This time there was a large wedding party but they had booked the pavilion which enabled us to have the smaller room to ourselves. When we arrived there we were thrilled to see how they had set the room up for us. Despite them being busy with the wedding party we were not ‘ neglected’ as so often happens in other venues when a wedding takes place there. The young man who greeted us was so helpful and was astute enough to see that everyone wanted to talk for a while as it was the first time we had all met up for a couple of years. He popped his head round the door from time tot time to check if it was appropriate to come to take orders and when he saw an opportunity he came with his pad and took all the orders for starters and mains. We didn’t have to wait too long before the starters appeared. All agreed that they were well presented and very tasty. Once again the young man spotted when we had all finished and came along with the son of the owners to clear the dishes. After an appropriate break the main courses arrived. Ample vegetables to accompany the main dishes were supplied and the plates and food were hot. The quantity of food was ample and as always when we have been to the Plas Hafod it was well cooked and tasty. To sum up the food was excellent and the service exemplary indicating that the staff had been well trained. We have no hesitation in recommending the Plas Hafod as an excellent venue not just for weddings but for smaller family celebrations. I shall be taking a friend in the next couple of weeks as she was shielding before a minor operation so couldn’t attend. It is one of very few places where the quality of meals does not ‘slip’ from time to time. Such a beautiful countryside location and the most accommodating and welcoming staff, nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent, our accommodation was warm and comfortable wish we had stayed longer!!

We had our wedding at the plas haford, it was fantastic all the staff couldn’t do enough for us! The food was lovely and the hotel and venue was perfect! I would highly recommend the plas haford for any occasion, even if your just going for a quiet meal you will not be disappointed!
