Stayed at the Platanista May 2017. Paradise! wonderful room, spotlessly clean and spacious, ground floor terrace leading out to lush gardens and one of the two pools. The poolside tavern was only steps away, serving great food home cooked by Marina and perfect for those lazy days when lounging around the pool and reading was all I wanted to do....

Took a gamble on this hotel as my wife and I needed a break at short notice. What a lucky break! The hotel is located 3kms out of Kos town in a quiet location. Like most hotels in this part of Kos it is no good if you want a beach break. We booked the mid-range room which was ok...

Stayed here for 11 nights September last year. Really enjoyed our stay as a couple. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent, every night there is a different theme. Breakfast is amazing, 2 crepe/waffle stands with many fillings! Rooms are a decent size with en suite and balcony/terrace 2 pools one which is more white and the other had good...

We have been to this hotel since 1994 and have seen it come from a 3 star with 1 pool to the best in many ways the hotel owner treats us like family the staff are superb nothing is too much trouble. We usually get the same room, Kosta, Meena ,Stavroula (reservation management ) have become friends.I recommend this hotel...

We travelled a little late in the year, Oct 2015, and were surprised to find this large hotel almost empty. Apparently they had had around 300 cancellations due to bad press publicity over the refugee situation. This is such a shame as when we went into Kos town they had very little impact on the facilities and kept to the...

I adored this hotel. From looking like an exotic castle to upmarket clientele, everything was spot on. It was quiet even though there was entertainment every night. Food was fabulous, two pools to choose from and the location was perfect too. Just outside the town centre meant it was close enough to walk into but away from the bustle. The...

I think it is appropriate to start with an admission that I am a fan of this hotel and all that it offers but I also have a critical mind and will record my honest thoughts. In sum, if what matters to you on your holiday in the sun in Greece are nice rooms, cleanliness, good quality and selection of...

Pros: Very clean, spacious room, with a balcony facing the pool with access to the pool (not all rooms are facing the pool though). Quiet (yet it was off-season). Plenty of food for breakfast and dinner with a large variety. It was only half board but we practically didn’t need any extra meal. Two pools + one for children. Good...

If all you want is to relax sitting by the pool in glorious sunshine, then I would highly recommend this hotel, at this time of year. We had a standard room with balcony, as didn't need to pay extra to make tea! However; whilst we didn't complain about the broken shower fitting, was surprised the maid had not reported it...

Booked this last minute a bargain £800 for 11 nights half board at this lovely Thomson Platinum hotel. We went in first week of school holidays so to get it for the price we did was a bonus! Our first impressions of this hotel was "wow" what a lovely hotel in a nice location too! Because we arrived late the...
