Stayed here for one night while attending a wedding in Cong. Found the staff very friendly especially Sharon who could not do enough for us. The room was spotless and spacious. The bed very comfortable. Breakfast next morning was lovely with a good choice of options. This is a family run hotel and highly recommended. Cong itself is a lovely...

Visited Lydon's Lodge for 3 days and was met by Sharon on arrival. The room was absolutely beautiful and extremely spacious and all the facilities were excellent!! The food was first class and of the highest standard. The staff were so friendly and attentive and all the little personal touches like fresh flowers on the tables helped add to the...

This B & B was wonderful. Sharon checked us in and offered us help with our luggage. The room was just remodeled and was lively. The food was amazing and very nice options for dinner. Homemade desserts topped it off wonderfully. Breakfast staff were so kind and there was a selection of food. We loved all the staff but extended...

Had a lovely modern room. Bed was comfortable. We had supper and breakfast in the pub /restaurant. Both meals were delicious. Had excellent service from Sharon very helpful in all questions asked. She even got us tickets for a comedy show at the lodge waiting at will call for us. Would definitely stay again. Thank you. Donna

Admittedly we were there late in the season, but I think there was only one other room let and the emptiness was a little spooky. The room was furnished with what seemed like used inexpensive dorm furniture from the 60's. For those who mind the mattress was rock hard, but this didn't interfere with my sleep. One of the lamps...

Rustic charm and comfortable room but ask for a 'back room' for quiet evenings! Wonderful Staff who were all very obliging and attentive. The bathroom in 17 could do with an 'update' and more shelving but very much in keeping with the Hotel's relaxed and friendly atmosphere - you won't be disappointed! Don't forget to pamper 'Meg' their delightful Cocker...

After departing Galway early in the morning, we followed the "Wild Atlantic Way" drive and meandered through numerous little towns & villages, eventually finishing off late in the afternoon touring the Kylemore Abbey & grounds then heading off as the sun set on our way to Cong to spend the night. The Lydons Lodge is immediately on your right hand...

We ate here a few times and found it charming and enjoyable. It's a small place so book ahead at weekends. The food is great and there are regular music sessions. Try to get a table in the front area as the main dining room lacks atmosphere. Well worth a visit in this really charming village.

We booked three rooms for our return visit to Lydons Lodge and again we were not disappointed. The location could not be better and the family friendly service is second to none. The rooms are large and very clean and the food is superb. We very much enjoyed dinner in the evening, with a wide selection to choose from on...

I am really not trying to be punitive toward the lovely people here at Lydon's Lodge. But, my one-night experience in this nice place and with the terrific people left me very tired and achy the next day. So, I have to weigh the bad with the good here. First of all, for the price Lydon's Lodge is a great...
