Mary was fantastic! We were very impressed with the room. She offered to make tea and when she brought it to us she included cookies which made us feel very welcomed. Would definitely stay there again!

I would most definitely recommend to anybody to stay at Nymphsfield House to visit the Village of Cong or and the region of Connemara,Mary is a remarquable and absolutely wonderful hostess, she makes you feel really at home, the room is spacious, the shower facility is within the room, you can also enjoy a bit of TV after a long nice walk in the village or the Cong forest nearby.Reaching the centre of the village is only 5 minutes walk. you also get free wifi.Mary welcomes you with a nice cup of tea or coffee on the day of your arrival, let's not forget the amazing and hearty breakfast that you will amazingly enjoy in the morning. you will also sleep like a log in those amazing comfortable beds. if you are lost of ideas to visit, lost for ideas to enjoy your day, Mary may also…

Situated just outside the pretty village of Cong. An ideal location for exploring the area including Ashford Castle and grounds and the location for the film ' The Quiet Man ' The owner Mary was very welcoming and helpful. In particular she advised us to go early to Ashford Castle grounds and enter via the fish lodge behind the Abbey to avoid the payment levied to deter casual visitors. The room was spacious and comfortable with a quiets night sleep. Ensuite clean and powerful shower. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Sitting area on the landing for tea coffee and biscuits. WiFi worked well . On site parking.

There are no negatives at this B&B. Location is perfect, walking distance to Cong town and the main attraction Ashford Castle. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. You couldn't get a more hospitable hostess than Mary. Breakfast had everything, the proverbial Irish. This is a first class lodging. Would stay there again.

This B&B is absolutely excellent. Comfortable, clean, and with a top rate hugely enjoyable Breakfast. The hostess Mary, couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Perfectly situated as an alternative accommodation for The Lodge or Ashford Castle, we were guests for a wedding! We will definitely be back. Can't recommend this B&B highly enough. Huge thanks. My wife and I stayed here to attend a wedding at Ashford Castle. It was perfectly placed to allow us to walk back under the stars after the reception. Mary was very welcoming from the moment we arrived and was particularly kind going shopping to arrange for a gluten and dairy free breakfast for me. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for a wedding in Ashford Castle and were not disappointed with our choice. From the moment we met Mary we were made to feel so welcome and spoilt, Mary has the ability to put a smile on everyone's face. The house is clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable, very homely. We stayed 2 nights so had the joy of having breakfast twice, and it was delicious fresh food with plenty of choice and very filling, much better than most hotel breakfasts. The B&B is within walking distance to Ashford Castle and Cong Village and the location is beautiful. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

This was one of the best B&Bs we experienced during a five week vacation in Ireland. Room, service, breakfast were all very good. This house is in a very peaceful neighborhood just outside of Cong village which is a charming and historic place to visit. It is a beautiful walk from the B&B through Ashford Castle grounds and into the Village. Our hostess was especially nice about giving us an "early" breakfast on the day we left.
