A group of us stayed here for around a week, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The surroundings are nice with a lovely suntrap patio area, as well as gardens. The rooms were nice and large with everything you need, TV WiFi was great, large comfy bed and soft pillows. Sound proofing was excellent and you could not hear your neighbours too. The breakfast was a buffet style and standard English affair, also they have juices, yogurt, cereals and some pastries. A small bar for alcoholic and soft drinks. Staff were helpful and it was a nice and chill stay.

A good room, I went for the deluxe. It was very clean. There were problems with the wifi but the hotel went over and above to enable me to work. A good stay. The breakfast buffet was okay but not very exciting.

we stayed at the oriel last night dinner, bed and breakfast as the hotel is dog friendly we took our dog nellie, we have stayed at this hotel quite a few times now in the past but over time various changes have been made, and i must say last night was the best night there ever, the staff and the food were absolutely amazing, dinner the garlic mushrooms were the best ive ever had from anywhere, braising steak was delicous. if your going to be going in the swimming pool while your there check the pool times as a couple of times a week there are kiddies swimming lessons from approx 16.00 to 18.30 hours.

We held my sisters baby shower here. Michelle was so helpful in planning the occasion. The buffet was fantastic value for money and tasted great. There was so much food, possibly too much but we were able to take some home. The room was set up perfectly as a blank canvas for us to decorate.

This was our second stay here. Everything was as perfect as our first stay a while ago. Booked a deluxe double which had a huge bed, good sized tv and good WIFI. We had dinner bed an breakfast because we knew we were in for some very nice food. Portions were very large and the food was served very quickly. No room for desert unfortunately. Check in staff very pleasant and welcoming. All servers in the bar and restaurant very polite and attentive, especially Claire. Lots of parking here too.

Lovely stay, helpful friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Even our pooch was spoilt with her own welcome gift of treats, bowls and a bed will defiantly be returning. Stayed on dinner before and breakfast, chicken in garlic sauce was to die for! Breakfast was really tasty Pool was lovey. Whole place was spotlessly clean.

Held our wedding here last August after many previous enjoyable short breaks. There are no words of praise adequate for Michelle Seddon, Events Manager, and all her colleagues for the way the whole event was managed from start to finish. The setting in the garden was gorgeous, helped by the fact that the weather was perfect. The standard of catering for 120 guests was of the highest. The cost was very reasonable and there is a strong sense of teamwork among the staff of this independently owned hotel.

Our family of 14 had our Xmas dinner there 25th Dec 2022...absolutely can't fault it. The staff were so welcoming so friendly, the good was delicious and plenty of it. Was a bit worried as we have always had a Xmas at home cooked by family members, but we could find no fault. I would recommend it to anybody,in fact I think we will probably do it again next year. Thank you to everyone who made our day so special.
