Hotel in general tired. Room very noisy and warm because you had to keep the windows closed to keep out some of the noise. Bed not very comfortable and pillows completely flat. Pool small. Steam room tiny. Locker in changing areas rusted and not very clean.

I just wanted to write to you to say Thank you to you are your team and especially Tracey for the hugely successful running of my 60th Birthday party on Saturday night The venue was perfect for our needs, the sun came out for our drinks on the terrace and the champagne flowed, the food was wonderful and many of...

Friendly welcome, the staff were really lovely and we had a very comfortable bed and pleasant bedroom. Breakfast was very good too. We stayed as part of a large party, and they managed the group very well. The building needs some attention though - rain was dripping through the ceiling in one of the corridors outside the bedrooms and we...

I paid over £120 for B&B, only to discover on the day that the hotel were discounting rooms to £60. This rather colours my impression of the place. It certainly wasn't worth £120 - tired bedrooms with a strange smell in the bathroom. The reception staff were good but when I telephone to book spa treatments I was asked "Are...

In an area not well served by good hotels the Oriel is probably your best bet but don't expect anything special . This hotel needs a lot of money spending on it to bring it up to any reasonable standard . The old phrase " very tired " springs to mind for this type of hotel . Starting outside the...

All I can say is that I expected a great deal more and I should have paid more attention to the poorer reviews. This hotel could be absolutely fantastic; the setting is lovely and the public areas are nice. For a hotel claiming 4 stars it just doesn't hit the spot. I had requested a twin room near the entrance...

All our guests were raving about the food, personally it is the best i have had at a wedding. Michelle and her team were fantastic from start to finish. The rooms were great and the breakfast in the morning...

The 2 night stay at this hotel turned out to be absolutely fantastic, even though there were 2 weddings catered for at the same time the staff looked after our every need. The food was excellent, our room was very clean and very light from the large window. We received a free upgrade to a large room with king size...
